    I just got the fiberone oat & pb -love them - 150 calories - but since I am no longer in the weight loss phase - I get to add a few to my daily food intake. Plus I need the fiber :0) I still watch what I am eating but have a couple of extra calories to play with daily or weekly :0)...

    Katarina - I was worried about maintaining - but you know what - it's not really that hard at all - I give myself 3 lbs leway (sp) I'm 145 - so I can go up to 148 - but once it hits 148 - I am cutting out a snack here or there or pushing the intensity of my exercise - For me this has never been a diet - this has been a lifestyle change - I am eating the same foods that I ate for the last year - now I may add a little real butter or add an extra snack - but basically no changes - If I don' have a candy bar no guilt - the way I am eating now is how I will eat for the rest of my life - I eat breakfast (steak 3 oz & egg this morning) - Lunch (4 oz fish & cauliflower) 1/4 apple for a snack - this afternoon fiberone bar (oats & peanutbutter to die for) dinner - turkey meat loaf veggies mashed potatoes - snack 100 c popcorn - pudding and if I want a fudgecicle or yogurt.. I eat I really do - and my weight has been stable I have even gone to 144 (for about 1 sec):omg_smile: - I was not on a diet this last year so I had nothing to change - no diet to go off of - I am eating healthy with few treats and my usual exercise 4 days a week sometimes just 3... Thanks Freedom for the props...

    Katarina - Yep your band is working :tongue2: I don't do the pinapple or papaya tabs cuz my stucks either go down with in a few - or come back up - I was starving monday night didn't had 3 phone calls and didn't get to eat til like 8:45 - ate my hamburger patty too fast - it came back up.. Lori We havent heard from Ellen yet - Great going on the exercise - yep the balls come in diff sizes - we use them at the gym - so I have seen the diff sizes... Keep up the good work...

    Denise - I feel the exact same way - But tell myself you are what you are and at least now you have done something good - you can't change the past all we can do is be happy with what we have now..     Tina I kept my own little 3x3 notebook for my calorie tracking - it worked for me I carried it in my purse and when I didn't know the calories of what I ate I would look it up and log in my book - I have a scale which I weighed my food it gave me calories too and I read lable (well still read labels as I want to know calories and pt even today) You really don't want to pb and slime you want to be able to eat a portion of food without those problems - were you full after you ate your dinner - how much in all did you eat just pork chop or ?? Yes being accountable helps - that's why I am here so much - it keeps me focused. Again here for you anytime... Hugs Janet

    Tina Hugs girlfriend :thumbup: I don't think you have a leak cuz .5 isn't a large amount - was this your 1st fill?? or 2nd... Yes call the doctor 1st thing in the morning - your band is a tool but that tool has to be maintained in order to work properly... Ok - how many pork chops did you eat per meal pre-banding - I bet you it was more than one :smile: So don't beat yourself up over that - it's better than eating 3 piece of cake.. I eat 4 oz of meat (fish/beef/pork/chick) ever night - plus 1/4-1/2 cup rice and 1/2 cup veggies and the weight did come off. Even with proper restriction - you have to make good food choices and there is nothing wrong with a pork chop - as to wanting chocolate - have you tried the dary sf Jello puddings - omw yummy... Eating for the sake of eat - come on girl - remember why you got banded - even when you have proper restriction you can eat slider foods and around your band. 1st are you tracking your calorie -my suggestion is that you do. Keep them between 800 - 1200 max and vary them daily - try dailyplate.com or fitday.com 3 meals - 2 or 3 healthy Snacks - When I need to feed my hunger (head) I eat the 100 cal snack pack popcorn - one piece at a time - I budget my calories to allow for my nite time hunger - I stay within my calories but I still get to eat... At lunch dinner eat extra veggies - with I can't beleive it's butter spray. You can do this... You did the right thing you came here for help... We are here for you... When you want to eat - get up distract yourself -come here to lbt - look at the pictures - post - read - renew your devotion to get healthy .. Go wash your face - put on a mask - clean out a sock drawer - go for a walk and get rid of the junk in your house - replace it with low fat - sf things that you can eat..     Ok We can breath a sigh of releif... You are home safe and sound and back to the freaking job and the freaking kids - we are back to normal :smile: Glad you are ok and so is the house - sorry about your dance class - what a bummer... I am a good parent - Andrew's was filled out before schools started (they went an pickup packets like 2 weeks before schoold started) he had his turned in the 1st day of school :thumbup:

    Steph What are you talking about now I am goint to kick your butt - the look at me post - I don't understand - We are a family - we are here to support good and bad and to give you our opinions on stuff - and somedays it is going to be all about you - just like it's all about me when I have an issue or want to brag about my weight loss - and hell ya we know I boasted - We should all be proud of each 1/4 lbs that we lose Some days it's all about Phyl, or Ruby, Karri, Kari, Denise or Linda and Dionna...     Charlene I am glad that your band takes away your hunger - I think our head hunger issues are the biggest problem period - And I am a great advocate for logging your food - IMHO I think it's the best learning tool we can use.. To nite went grocery shopping at my new Winco grocery store (it's like a food 4 less) it just opened yesterday - I went then but 2 hr wait in the ck out line - so I left - well back to my story - being around all that food - I was getting really hungry - I see food I want to eat - so that's why I say advoidance is what has worked best for me... Any way those are the times that I am really tempted to eat out of my healthy realm - but 99% of the time I can ignore it... Got home put the stuff up and forgot about food - but am cooking dinner now - fish (white) cauliflower (white) not a very colorful dinner :0) but the cauliflower was 98 cents :thumbup: Lori sounds like a great thing that they do for you - ya the distant - I understand that - I am so lucky my gym is right across the street.. I like working with the ball - it really helps build up your core strength.. Kathy - the sun heats our pools so much that they really are too useable the month of august - we need an ac system for the pool - they have one that's suppose to cool it a few degrees - but like $3500-4000 - no thanks.. 4 days liquids?? Yep that will help jump start the weight loss ans long as if they aren't of the alcohal varitiy :smile: Hey Ellen - I was about to send out the possey for you.. Glad you had a great party and renunion - those are so important Yes each doc is diff on what you do after a fill - mine 1 week each post op phase - but being the good catholic school girl that I am - I did about 2 - 3 days Soup then moved to soft - I would say that my eating plan is mostly on the soft side - fish - rice - veggies . But do have steak - hamburger once or twice a week.. You will be fine - but let us know when you get home how it went..

    Steph You can see your loss since we last saw you in July:thumbup: Good Job....:thumbdown: No you are not too skinny at all and you are not freaking fat either You got boobs and a butt things girls are suppose to have - I don't think 130 which I think is your goal weight will be to thin and imho I think you should strive for it - heck you are young - your skin is bouncing back really good - I think you will be just right 130 - 125 - I know that you think 10 lbs isn't going to make a diff - but it does - I thought the same thing too - but as you get smaller those pounds lost show more... And as far as sizes go when I weighed 120 I wore like a 7/8 - I really think that they have changed sizes in the last few year.. Plus we were shopping in the teen section back then and now a days we are in the womens section - I think that they do cut teen clothes a little smaller - but can't bet the farm on it - I can't say I really have shopped the teen section since losing weight - the whole sleeveless issue ... and they don't make the clothes for women with chest..

    Sassymama Ok I am a fish lady but you hate it so that's out the window :thumbdown: Do you eat red meat or ground turkey??? Use white ground turkey meat (or you could use ground chicken or ground beef) - brown in skillett with onion & bell pepper minced small - add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add cut up zuchinnee after meat has cooked -then add spaghetti sauce or tomato sauce and a little Water and cook until done - if you want add a little fat free cheese at the end. Search the mushie thread you should find some more recepits - I hope you chopped the pork & chicken really small - cuz for me mushies was mostly pureed food.

    No it's a bulk grocery store - like Food 4 Less (do you have those in Tx)- Mac N Cheese 39 cents (kraft) bacon 98 cents - chickbreast 2.98 - coke 1.98 12 pack banana 18 cent pound... I live in an area of indio which presently has tons of new housing tracts but no retail - you gotta drive clear across town to go grocery shopping to the next town over to go to walmart or target. So we are now getting retail Fresh & Easy Market - CVS/ Walgreens / Home Depot -Petco - Staples - Super Target - Ross all this is within 1/4 mile of my house I am over joyed ... But not going to wait 2 hrs in line - hell all your food would spoil melt :thumbdown:

    Everyone - Repeat the Mantra - I am in a smaller size than last year - I am not ____ any longer... I am a smaller person my clothing size is proof... ok I forgot to tell you all this this morning Remember I said our new Winco grocery store was opening yesterday and I was going after the gym ... Well, I went - the parking lot was full - I get to the door - the girl there handing out maps of the store - say it's a '2 HOUR WAIT TO GET THRU THE CHECK OUT LINE" can you fricking beleive that - I turned around and walked out... I guess I will have to wait a few days before I can get into my own neighborhood store - they should have had a soft opening just for the pple in the neighborhood before the whole Coachella Valley was there yesterday..

    Good Morning Gang.. Ok remember last night 8:42 and starving - well ate my hamburger patty too fast and guess what happend :frown: - I was so pissed... I was hungry even though I pb - I was hungry and couldn't eat . But guess what did go down ok - Oatmeal Raisin Cookies dipped in milk :sad: - Didn't get my protein yesterday so today will be protein heavy.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok Phyl - I understand your frustrations - I remember going to WW and pple joining who had like 15 to lose and the majority had 100+ to lose. The instructor said it's all relative - those 15 lbs where just as important and hard for the thin girls as we called them as it was for us to lose the 100. You have lost almost 90 frickin pounds in just a little over 1 yr :frown:- You have a physical limitation (your knees) which prevents you from exercising like the rest of us.. So of course it's going to come off a little slower - don't get mad :biggrin: but you have a few yrs on us and you have done alot of traveling which is something I really didn't do during my weight loss phase and when I did - I can tell you the food choices weren't the greatest as most of the food that you have to choose from isn't the same as what you can have at home... You have done so very very well... Please done let us at goal or near goal put a damper on your motivation... Just think you are coming back to Desert - you will have your water exercise and between that and your healthy eating I bet you - you will have lost another 35-45 lbs this winter which is going to put you that close to your goal !!! Tell Earl - what goes up must come down and that it will go up again - I don't watch the market - I learned along time ago not to.. It will drive you crazy Glad you are getting some time with DS - That's good - Love the one that she's it but he's not divorced from the last one :frown: Hugs - You are doing GREAT !!!!! Don't get down -I know easy for me to say - but it's all relative - you will get there for that I am SURE OF... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steph - I think your goal of 130 is right on for your height and age. Even at 130 you are going to have some fat on your body - We are never going to get rid of our body issues - we are never going to be perfect - no one is - even those girls we look at and think - they have perfect bods - they don't see that when they look in the mirror. The size 0 girls think they are fat.. No you aren't going to become anorixic - I am not even concerned with that - you have a level head you have learned to eat healthy and exercise. It's going to take a while for your mind to catch up with what you really look like in the mirror.. Take me for example - I am 145 got 2 inches on you and wear 6's & a couple 4's - do you see a fat person when you look at me.. Nope. I still see her at time.. At other time I see a thin person and am amazed that's me in the mirror - I see the bat wings. I see bags under my eyes you guys don't. No at a size 6 you are not fat - you have skinny girl verison of fat that 10 - 15 lbs to lose. You will know when it's time to stop losing weight - I did and I was freaking about it too. My friends here said you don't need to lose anymore when I was 160 - I said yes I do I want 145. That's the number I wanted - I feel good at this weight - You will know when you are at the weight that you feel comfortable with... _____________________________________________________________ Ruby - Plastic surgery is a girls best friend :0) - And I get the whole I don't look like an 8 - yes you do - the size on those pants say 8 so you do look like an 8... What we fat chick think of as of a size 8 is tiny buy your brain is still thinking in that 20/22 size - When you look in the mirror and you have those size 8's on - tell yourself I am an 8 these pants are an 8 - I do look like an 8 - that's the mantra I say to myself every day - my clothes are a certain number it's what they say I am so I am.. Ok I want to post before noon - I started this at 7:20 and it's now 9:16... I hope it makes sense - I have had so many interuptions... Hugs....

    Ok Steph - I didn't have time to answer earlier cuz this is going to take some time (I think) How tall are you - looks like you have 5 lbs to get to the high end of normal bmi (I am at the high end at 24.9 - 145 lbs for 5'4) I was like Ruby - I was 20/22 - thought I would be happy at 14 - then came the 12's the 10's - 8' - 6's Ok I have had 3 phione calls tonite - it's 8:42 and I haven't eaten - i am going to go - I will give you my 2 cent in the morning..     Charlene - I still make a pot of Beans every now and then - the 2nd fill should help. I am trying to do a poll of pple at goal about the band and their hunger - I can't get anyone to respond - I think I have 2 long term banders - Jachut & Snowbird - they both vote along with me that the band didn't take away their hunger - just made them full longer.   23. Katiebug You will be one of the success stories - you are not relying on your band but on you to do the work. I say I did 75% of the work by choosing to eat healthy and exercise - the band did 25% by controling my portions.
