    Good Morning Peeps... Julie like Linda said nothing earth shattering going on ... Hugs on your pain sure wish someone would get to the root of it - well I bet you would too.. That's nice of DD to be worried about you - hope the girls get well soon.. Melissa Snow - OMG it would shut down the Desert too.. Linda LOL me and Phyl not being axe murders - Kelly is like 5 hrs (approx porterville right kelly) not really close. Ya I gotta get hip ck'd out - cuz it's not really hip joint that hurts but the muscle/tendion that runs on the side of my leg - like right now sitting with crossed legs and can feel the side of my leg hurting all the way down to my knee.. Ya the cd - just didn't give good enough instructions and my hip wasn't hurting at all till I tried the 1st 2 steps - that was enough - I just took it out and put my wii active in.. Yep snow in the desert would shut us down LOL. Again Prayers for Katie.. Meredith - You are doing FANTASTIC !!! Charlene - Hugs for your Mom- remember take care of you as you can't take care of her if you don't take care of you -I was my parent's caregiver for the last 6 months of their lives and it's really hard work.. Sandy - How's your Dad.. Cheri- Are yours moving Phyl - How's your Mom Lori - I know you are gone to denver - but the other night I was thinking (I know dangerous) but you never talk about your Dad ??? Hope you have a good time w/GM.. Kelly - Why did you have to have a few cocktails to tell me that?? I don't think your Dad worked for our agency - we have had a few names A.J. Sfingi & Associate - Lewis & Hannon - Sfingi & Hannon - HRH Insurance now Desert Empire - I know one Jack and he use to work for Fitzhenry Funeral Home.. We might know the same pple - the Desert isn't that big (well it use to not be lol) and I beleive in the saying 6 degrees of separation - My GF BIL use to work at City of PD Chris Neven's - he was a friend of my bro's too..     OMG this morning the place was dead - I get busy and then you all just junk up the thread LOL Lori - WTG on your workout ... Hugs on DD MIL issues - Yep you aren't giving the shower - you can't change the date - let her do her own ;0) Not good w/icky MIL - I was lucky - I got along w/mine and all my bf's mom's so can't help their.. Eva - Glad Apples got there safe and sound - she will love originizing ;0) Trainer sick tonite - so rescheduled for thrusday - so I got my Zumba game figured I would do that tonite - well it's stupid doesn't give you left or right - felt lost just on learning the steps - plus my hip didn't like it either - don't waste your $$$ it's going back to qvc -- but I did yoga and it's been 276 days since the last time I turned on my wii - have improved greatly in that area and my weight is the same as it was 276 days ago - it just gave me bmi - but it's the same ;0) 24.06.. I'm going to the kitchen to cook - I'm hungry... food Bf Jerky lunch fish & spinach Snack 1/2 ck thigh dinner - ck thigh & broc & rice Snacks ??? who know sf fudgscile - popcorn.. I gotta go watch my soap so will cbl Charlene - did you lose 4 lbs???\\ Joyce WTG on your exercise too Laurak - You will find your guy - Watching Suzie O on OWN last night at this stage in our life - your partners $$$ style needs to be inline w/yours...

    Karla - Hugs Prayer for a safe surgery - glad you are so positive about it - You aren't debbie downer - you haven't been feeling well.. Well - tried the stupid wii zumba - don't waste your $$$ it's going back to qvc - they don't tell you left or right - too hard to follow - but I did yoga and it's been 276 days since the last time I turned on my wii - have improved greatly in that area and my weight is the same as it was 276 days ago - it just gave me bmi - but it's the same ;0) 24.06...     OMG -22 DEGREES - I WOULD FREAKING DIE !!! Zicam - Take it w/airborne as soon as you feel crappy - the zicam really works for me. Have you done the tofu yet?? I know it takes on the flavor of whatever you season it with - I have had bits in Soups (chinese) but never as a meal.. Well my Idries (trainer) is sick so no work out to nite was weights - arms - - so I got the zumba wii dance game - guess I will give that a try - just found it on the door step yesterday (I don't use the front door) i guess mail man dropped it off on Friday... So that will be my exercise tonite - sure glad it's just me and the dogs :0)

    Yogurt is a semi slider for me - add some fruit or lf granola - or try hard boiled eggs - I'll make an egg beater omelett at home and bring it to work and warm it up around 9ish - I am usually ready for lunch a 11: 30 - very hungry - but what's a half an hr - At lunch after you eat your tuna or chicken - add a salad or veggies - I had fish & veggies for lunch - Same goes for dinner

    Well said !!! WLS isn't about cheating or not - it'a about getting healthy - a piece of cake - or a cocktail - or some fried food occassionally isn't cheating - it's normal - what's not normal is eating these things 24/7 365 and not moving, thats how we all got fat in the 1st place..

    IMHO I think you consider it the easy way out cuz you finally had your "ah ha" moment and now understand the whole lifetime lifestyle change... What's diff between the hard way & WLS - they both require that you eat healthy and exercise to lose the weight and to keep it off Yes our bands made a tough job a little easier - but really the real work was up to us cuz were are the ones making our food choices not the band and we could if we chose to - could eat around it.. For me I finally had the Ah Ha moment and I think that's what has made my journey pretty easy.. IMHO the majority of our issues w/food are in our heads and as any one who is banded knows - it does nothing for head hunger issues...

    Hugs for the struggles How much are you eating - do you have restricition and just eating around it Are you measuring your food - are you keeping a food diary - are you exercising.. I suggest keeping one - write down everything that goes in your mouth and the calories that go w/it You may be eating more than you think - or you may not be eating enough.. I kept my calories between 800-1200 a day during my weight loss phase and varied them daily If you are exercising - then change up what you are doing - increase the intensity and if you aren't then start ;0) As far as being hungry - I am hungry right this very second - but my actual stomach (pouch is full) - Our bands do nothing for our head hunger issues and the majority of the time that's what it is - head hunger and you just gotta work thru it - being hungry is normal - we can wait 3 hrs before our next meal - it's not like we don't know when our next meal is going to be so that we have to scarf up all the food we can get our hands on until the next meal... I say I did 75% of the work in losing the weight and the band did 25% by providing restriction - Hell I should up that percentage cuz you know what even w/restriction I could have choosen to eat around it - but I didn't - so you know what 100% of the work was up to me - by changing my eating and exercise habits :0)

    Steph sometimes it is all about you :0) !!! You are important - Love hearing about how excited Jeff is about his weight loss ... I know you said you were doing BCBS weight loss challenge - but is that something your town is doing or a thingie your insurance company is offering?? I'm w/you - if my steak isn't bbq'd what's the use - waste of good meat - I need gas for my BBQ - I think when Joseph comes at the end of the month - I am going to buy a bbq that hooks up to my natural gas - then I will never be out of gas like I am right now - Phyl - you have to hit multi for me and Steph & Karla - then hit add reply - It's working for me but gotta say when I am at work the site usually is ok - sometimes at home I can't change font and things don't always work - but if I clear my cache things go back to normal Oh you are going to have such a good time - what's the name of the resort??? Really I didn't do bad while on vacation w/food - had a lot more cheese than usual - but alot of the meat was just too tough for my bad and I had a few cocktails too - what got me (I did gain a couple lbs but they were off within a week) was the sugar - but I always eat too much sugar when on vacation - but it's my treat - .. You will be doing stuff so it' (food) won't be in your face 24/7 - and to me food wasn't in your face as much as on a cruise ;0) Well gotta get to work ;0)

    Yep me too - I have always been a night eater - I eat - I just budget my calories to compensate for night eating - it worked for me - I still lost the weight..

Forgot these thoughts in my 1st post this morning- was thinking about it in the shower ;)0 Steph - Glad you can eat fish - it's good for you ;0) hope you don't have to smother it in mayo ??? Yep Snowmobiling is exercise ;0) - I know riding quads is ;0) never snowmobiled but would think it's simliar Karla - LOL on your Mom being a witch LOL - My Sis when she was younger I know practices some white magic - Don't remember much about it - but knew she was into in her early 20's - My Mom would get her cards read - I had a gf who did too. I've done tarot on the computer. I would love to get mine read - but know it's against God - plus I don't want to know what the future holds - I will let it reveil its self when it's suppose to. But if your Mom gets some benefit from the Healer - go for it - Oh ya I would love to go see John Edwards now that I would do... Phyl - You just crack me up - Glad you got out for the walk ;0) you were busy last week - we all need our veg days - Good luck on getting your veggies this week - remember pick 1 or say 2 days a week when YOU get to cook dinner - How's that for a great idea ;0)..     Good Morning Gang Karla - I had gym at 10 then went to Stater Bro & Target - got home around 2:30 put stuff up - watched t.v. read - had a 20 min cat nap - bed and now up work.. Hope all goes well with dr appt - on your portion what do you think is too much most likely isn't - eat off small plates - measure and you will do fine - you gotta heal Phyl - WTG on your walk - it wasn't windy here -- just over cast and cool - Chili sounds good - I wish I had read this yesterday - I might have come out - didn't turn on the computer when I got home - I spend too much time on it and then at the end of the day I don't feel rested ;0)

I only watch the superbowl ;0) Karla - Gym at 10 - then grocery store - and that about it - Had HOA dues on 1/1 - so need to watch $$$ No real plans - I like to stick close to home on Sunday's - day of rest... I'm enjoying clean house but do have about 2 more loads of laundry.. I am reading a book - maybe I should crochet ...

    Good Morning Gang... Linda sounds like you had a good day - OMG I don't think I could live in that cold ;0) - Trader Joe's are always crowded -we have 3 one in Palm Springs (20 miles) Palm Desert (10 miles) La Quinta (5 miles) I have never been to Palm Springs store Palm Desert Store in a strip mall - not super big and neither is the LQ store - they are out of my way - I rarely go.. I get some of my dog/cat food at Petco (halo) but the little ceazer I get at Target cuz it's cheaper - Ya unfortunate that SD is an addict - That's a tough one - So Sad - Hugs & Love and glad you are seeing some one... That she's lost one child and can lose another - so very sad and the damage that she did by using while p.g. - but that's an addict - So very hard to understand - we understand addiction - but ours (food) only hurt us.. Your dinner sounds good... Yep it was me and costco - OMG the pigs in those stores act like they have never eaten - let us know how it is - it's always nice to have something on hand when you haven't taken anything out - That happens every now and then - mostly on the weekends when I am busy doing something (out and about) come home and nothing to fix for dinner - Chris - WTG on your NSV (being on your feet) Once you get back to work - things will get better - too much togetherness ;0) Charlene - GF this is what I have been preaching since day one - find what works for you that you can live with for the rest of your life - quit treating this as a diet - it's not - it's about eating healthy - smaller portions - exercise.. 0h ya - next time you go out to bf don't take the muffin home - leave it on the plate no one needs it - Well Not much to report - Had dinner - Fish - Spinach - Rice - SF Ice Cream - Took my vitimans & Calcium (omg that stuff is like alli to my system in the morning tmi :0) Watched tv that I recorded... Up at 6:30 - on 2nd cup of coffee - gym at 10 the normal Sunday Target shopping home -- That's my exciting day :0) CBL

    Charlene - I think maybe you need to just stick to calories/points and just say you are going to have limited starches - this reporting every day that you have fallen off the wagon isn't working - it has to be messing w/your brain and confidence... For me I know that I could/can not go all day every day w/no starches.. But I plan them - again I don't count carbs in yogurt veggies etc - I just count starches - so Allow yourself 1 meal that contains a starch - if if you want to snack on popcorn - ok - it's better than Cookies - by the 100 cal snack packs.. You can't make this about dieting and imho that's what you are doing - just plan on eating healthy... Can you do that for just 1 day eat healthy and don't diet... Bella is a little wiggle worm when I am bathing her - Angel and Bear aren't so bad - I don't think I could trim Bella if I tried - I need Phyl';s cousin for her.. Well dinner is done - fish - spinach & rice - Watched Beverly Hills House Wives :0) love that show - dislike Camile ;0) Apples - May the roads be clean and great weather tomorrow for your trip... Phyl - Yep you buy smaller bags and some fresh stuff too - hell you guys can go to the store every other day any way - no need to stock up. DH is just to freaking cheap at time :0)....

    Good Evening Gang... Steph WTG on your food - I can't do shakes 3x a day - I need savory - so the pt soups is what I eat for dinner.. Beans & Cheese sounds good - I'm having fish rice and spinach - is it what I want - not really - but it's all that's here ;0) so I'm going w/it .. Enjoy your alone time :0) have fun snowmobiling tomorrow Phyl - Head Hunger - you should have gotten out of the house - take Zoey for a walk... Karla - No coffee - OMG I know that's killing you ;0) - I had 1.5 around 4:30 so I wouldn't fall a sleep - Sure glad you got some real sleep and real food !!!! You will heal in no time.. Today - I stripped the bed - washed everything - but it back on the bed - vaccumed the house - mopped the floors - dusted - gave all 3 dogs bathes and brushed them - OMG that's a chore in its self.. Washed clothes - Showered and shaved legs (I don't shave often in the winter but w/clean sheets you gotta have smooth legs ;0) put on a pair of clean jammies - ate some popcorn - had some coffee - and dinner is in the oven - infact timer just went off..
