Linda - I spray my fish with pam after coating and it helps crisp it up - but ya - it's just as good as fried... I use "I can't beleive it's butter spray on my veggies & starches and a little of the I can't beleive it's butter margine - you do have to have some fat in your diet - and my hair dresses says that's the reason pple lose their hair - lack of fat not the Protein issue (cuz we do get enought) Yes you need to eat some meat or chicken prior to fill - not everyone has to have fills right away - for some just the band being in place provides enough restriction.. All we do is read about fills - In some ways I think we pay too much attention to the # of cc's in our bands - that's not important (cuz for each of us it's going to be diff) We think we have to have tons of fills - well you know what - once you do hit your sweet spot - you aren't suppose to need any more - I haven't had a fill in over a year and I only had 3.. You need to pay attention to your restriction - how much you can eat (hard Proteins not soft or mushies) that's what dictates if you need a fill - it's not if you haven't lost weight you could have perfect restriction but not lose any weight due to the food choice you make... Also, some days you can eat more than other - don't ask me why - but it's true - One day you can eat more than usual then think Oh I need a fill then a few days later you can barely eat 4 oz of something - We do have to have control/disleplend in what we eat and how much even with the band - it doesn't make our food choices - So if one day you ate 3 pieces of pizza or 3 pieces of cake - don't assume you need a fill - Say to your self - I need to make better choices.. When I go to restaurant - I usually just order off the menu - since I don't do it often - I don't worry as much about with or without butter - I just try and order the healthiest that I can - Well most of the time Yep Holly - you can't put so much pressure on yourself about the exercise issue - cuz if you do it will become a chore and you aren't going to want to do it - as as you get healthier you will want to exercise more - as it will get easier and as you lose the weight - you will have to up the intensity to burn the same amount of calories as you are now. I don't eat sandwiches often - but do every few months as I wll get a taste for them - I use either WW bread or Sara Lee light - and 2% cheese - Last night I ended up having an egg sandwich - 1 fried egg 1 & 1/2 pieces of bacon and 1 slice 2% cheese (bread 90 c (toasted) - egg 90 c bacon 35c - Cheese 45 c - total 260) -------------------------------------------------------; TGIF GANG !!!!! 3 more weekends til my cruise..... I can't wait... Taking GS shopping this weekend - I don't want him looking like a little ganstar on this cruise - He's not but you know how kids dress now a days - and this is when my age shows - I hate the baggy crap - he is not overly baggy but some of his shirts are bigger than I would like - Well, that also means 3 week to clean up my desk - so I better get in gear.... Becky - I would love if you would get away from the Protein shakes - you gotta eat real food - get your protien from real food not supplements - but again this is my personal opionion but my doc wants us banders to eat real food - not supplements - sometimes they are needed but not every day.. I agree you may not be eating enough - do you do eggs or egg beater - make 1/4 cup add some cheese & ham or bacon- Snack - some kind of protein - maybe a bar 190c for 19 or 20 pt grms Lunch - do you do tuna - tuna and lite mayo & mustard and onion Snack - string cheese dinner - 4 oz of meat and veggies Snack - sf pudding You can't shower there where you are taking care of the lady?? that would give you an extra hour for stuff you need to do... Mobo - WELCOME !!! Yes it's normal to be scared and excited all at the same time - we all were.. #1 Rule - take hope out of your vocabulary replace it with WILL - This will be a new beginning for you... You are just over the mountain from me - My GF DD lives in San Marcos or is it Vista - one on the 2... Of course you can join our group - we would LOVE to have you... Ok gang - I'm signing off - as you all know I was up early (before 4:30) I still don't know what I am eating for dinner - I think tuna or a grilled cheese (2%) sandwich on lite bread.. PJ You promised me you would exercise girl and make good food choice !!! Come on now .... You can do this... I haven't had talipa lately - I eat catfish 99.9% of the time or scallop or shrimp.. But if you don't like fish don't eat it - do chicken and just a little beef. -

Blklab What food stage are you on?? Are you tracking your calories And Yes the weight loss is going to slow - I think I lost like 9 lbs the 1st week and don't really remember how much after that - it would vary from 2 lbs one week - then maybe 3 - then 2.5 - click on my ticker and it will show my weight loss history - but again don't let that depress you as we all lose weight at diff rates - it depends on your metabolisam - your calories and your exercise.. Since I'm from Cali too - I know all about wanting it fast and about 4 month through the journey you think you are never going to get to goal - but girl all those lost pounds add up. So don't focus so much on how many more you have to loose just focus on losing by changing your eating to eating healthy (not dieting) and moving (exercise)... If you do the work involve (and it's work) you will get to your goal - it's maybe slower than other or it could be faster than other - but all that's important is that YOU get to YOUR goal in YOUR own time... -

Donna - I agree with Peaches & Phyl's idea is the best - if you don't have mutual friends - for get it - You know everytime you send a hug a kiss etc on face book you are giving out info about yourself - I didn't get that at first - but now I do Well - you have been doing very well.... Laurie Your port is where the cut is/was to insert it - it should be right under that scar... Mine is about 4 inches above my belly button off to the left side (between my boob & belly button) Ant - Call your doctor - my gas pain was in my shoulder not in my band area... Are you eating low sodium broth - when do you go on full liquids - no straws right??? Holly - Hugs for the ear ache - that and tooth aches are the very worst pain... Great on your walking... Sharon - Ya I had a tough day too... WTG on the sit ups.. I don't do them much either - like I said some crunches at the gym but nothing major. food today - Breakfast - Red Pear - lunch 4 oz fish - 1 cup butternut squash - 1/3 c rice - dinner - I don't have the faintist - like I said tough day at work and now I gotta open bills ... Oh ya Apples - what are you baking - when will you know the results of the scan... Have you told us what you guys farm???

Good Morning Gang I have been super busy at work - never got a chance to post yesterday or the night before - Went to the attonery on Wed - OMG never ending - so after that I went to Marshalls cuz I was depress :tt2:- I love marshalls - 1 jean skirt - 2 long dresses - belt - and workout pants - I felt better :thumbup: Car - I use to keep track of my miles - but haven't since I quit tracking calories - (i tracked exercise to back then) but in the 1st yr 7/07 to 7/08 I went to the gym 179 day and so if you took 3 x 179 = 537 - that would be a guess cuz in the beginning I didn't do 3 miles - I was lucky to get a mile or 2 miles in.. Last night my trainer complement me on how agile i am now adays - asked if I noticed the diff - I say oh ya - that's the very best part of all this (weight loss) I am quicker on my feet - I don't have the pains in my hips that I had - I can move without being exhausted.... Denise how did Madi Gra go - any king cake or celebrating?? white dot lmao - now that you have the treadmil - you can get there too... Karri - fat can't get on your fingers that fast - so it's water :tongue:- Arent you just amazed when you type those word - I enjoyed working out... Steph glad you made it safe have a good time enjoy your time away from home Candice - only watch 1 hr of idol last nite then to bed - tivo it so will watch tonite - Doing good on your calories girl... Phyl - so proud of you for keeping up the exercise even when you aren't feeling welll that in itself is a great NSV.. Well gang off to watch a little news - well really the weather to see how I need to dress for the day... Good Morning Gang..... My little Angel woke me up early again this morning to go potty - 4:25 and I get up at 5 so why go back to bed.... So I thought I would get a jump on my posting - but I see all was pretty quiet last night... Well, the stupid scale moved 1/2 a pound this morning - I have one more to go to get back to my normal weight. This is the thing girls you can't let 3 lbs sit and stay once you have gotten to goal - cuz if you do then it will be another 2 or 3 in a month or so then so on and so forth and before you know it - bam you are back to your heavy weight and saying OMG how did that happen over a 2 yr period of time. For me when I have lost weight before - that's what happend - slowly over 2 yrs I put all the weight back on and then some.. Well, that's about all I have to preach about this morning... I guess I better check my other threads cuz I didn't last night Have a good day ladies and make good food choices and get your exercise in - Make time for you - cuz you are worth it - you are important - your health is important - and you can't keep putting off till tomorrow what you can do today... OK GANG - BACK FROM GYM - dinner IS STARTED IT'S 7:18.. Long - you got me beat girl - i doubt I could do 50 sit ups - we do a little ab work 3 set of like 15 after some of our weight sessions but that's it - YOU GO GIRL !!! Julie - Congrats on 8 lbs in 1 month that's 2 lbs a week and that's very good... I know that you think it should be flying off (the weight) but it doesn't work like that - but all those lbs add up and next year you will be so surprise at how much it's going to total too.. About me - 54 divorced (Happy) have 1 DS (38)- a wonderful DIL 3 Grandkids 2 girls from dil 14 & 5 and my my almost 18 yr GS who lives with me (diff mom from the GD's)- he is really more like my child - he was born in my house and was with me for the first 3.5 yrs of his life then I got married but then got him back 7 yrs ago when dh and I broke up. I weighed 3 lbs at birth - My mom uses to say things like - oh can you believe she weighed 3 lbs when she was born - she has made up for it and the pretty face comments alot to.. My 1st diet was like 4th grade - they gave me liqiud diet med - I think that's what made me a closet eater - I had to sneak food... My Mom died when I was 15 - My Dad & Stepmom died 17 yrs ago - One bro died in 99 at the age of 43 - my baby bro died 10/08 he was 50 - I have a half sis (same mom) but right now that relationship is really strained due to the family issues that come up when someone dies... I have 4 nephews and 1 niece - 1 uncle on my Mom side who's 65 and 1 aunt on my dad's side who's 93 I have been on my own since I was 16 - I have worked since I was 19 - I was thin for a few yrs - 14-23 then the weight started back on - The weight loss has improved the quaility of my life 100 mill % - That's the reason I had the surgery - I want to extend the yrs I have left on this earth - I wanted to improve the quaility of my life - I was eating and sleeping my life away.. I have always been a pretty confident person even fat - I think the major reason I over ate was control - It's what I had control over - Also boredom Well, that a start :0) Kathy - I'm giving up work :tt2::tt2: I have never given up anything - even back when I went to Catholic School- I guess with my parents it wasn't a big issue.. Does the giving up sugar include alcohal :tongue:?? I have a GF who gives up both and usually looses weight during lent... Thanks !!! Just talking fat chick talk - I know all the excuses - I know all the reasons - and for some of us our weigh issue can come form major issues and for some it's something as simple as boredom !!!! NOBODY SHOULD BE TOO SHY TO POST - We are all the same - we all help each other --- Phyl - that fill is going to get you going in the right direction again... You have done so well - the weight loss and all the nsv too... That lady can jump in a lake PJ - I don't find that my band helps my hunger - ya it keeps me full longer and faster - but it doesn't stop me from being hungry... I have found if I drink a crystal lite when I am hungry it helps - I like the fruit punch - but make it in a 20 Water bottle not 16 Julie - you don't have to give up something you could committ to exercising for lent :tt2: Yes GF - you talked about your good eating but didn't mention exercising:laugh: didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out:bored: HR Labor - oh ya I wouldn't want to deal with any more pple at the end of the day either... Long I'm right there with you on the exercise issue - it's unbeleivable that almost 19 month I have exercise - that's a record in it self..... My trainer commented tonite how quick on my feet I am now - limber too. how much strong I am today than a year ago - (March will be my one year anniversay with my trainer). These are the things that really keep me on track - I just feel to damn good now a days - I have so much more energy - I can do things without being tired all the time -my feet or hips hurting - hell just rolling over in bed was a chore... Linda - I would never live in LA - hell it took me 5 hours to get home from Beverly Hills when I went for my PS consultation.. Never would I live where traffic was like that.. CONGRATS ON YOUR 2 LBS LINDA WTG Girl :wink2: Becky - I wish butter made me sick - I still love it - I still have to be very careful of it - and really at the movies it's not butter but butter flavored oil - and if I eat too much of that it will make me feel icky too... Bonnie - This is a learning experience and it's hard for all of us to give up our drug of choice (food) - Just keep plugging away and it will get easier... CONGRATULATIONS SHARON !!!! Now don't you feel so good about doing it - its wasn't that hard was it - and yes you gotta find something to do while walking on the treadmill - reading - tv - music something I am very proud of you girl - I know how hard it is to get back into the routine - that's why I won't let myself slack too much... I would like to exercise 4 times a week - but sometimes life gets in the way so some weeks it's only 3 - but I won't let myself slack for say an entire weeks - in the last 19 months - I have never missed 1 week of exercise - cuz if I did - I know how hard it would be to get back on track... Apples - Sometimes it can get a little hard - like tonite when I have to catch up from last night - that's why I check in - in the morning and during the day.but some days there aren't enough hours.. But this is my transfer addiction :tongue: and it keeps me honest too.. I am one who practices what she preaches (well for the most part:wink:) Glad they are going to take care of those stones - that would be a "B" to have that kind of pain so often.. Rose - Hugs GF - but as you said you know why the scales haven't moved as much as you would have liked.. You have lost 21 lbs in 9 weeks that 2.33 a week and that's great. Also - we have to learn how to live our lives with our new lifestyles - If you have cake today - no ice cream tomorrow - or if you do have double treats - then you gotta do double exercise... OK Now I am jealous - you get to meet Apples - Julie - I gotta tell you that she is a great person - for all you newbies - when my bro died in October all these ladies (Long Apples Becky - Charlene - Kathy - Phyl) were all so sweet and supportive - I got more support from them than I did my own sister... The longer you stay around you will realize how we all become such really good freinds without meeting in person and when you do get to meet in person - it's like you have know this person your entire life... I posted this morning started at 7:30 had interruptions - then had a meeting that didn't end till 10 then finished post hit submit - and BOOM :tongue:... it went to cyber space .... Pissed me off so much :wink2::thumbup::tt2:- and I had tons of stuff to do - so didn't try and repost - super busy at work - and last night didn't get home till 7:30 -- I leave for the gym in about 5 minutes - but wanted you all to know I am here - and I will post when I get back home after gym ... Holly Yep restriction is wonder - but so fickle.. Like right now I just took a sip (well a small gulp) and am stuck... At other times it's no problem - some days I seem loose as a goose and others I can get stuck often... But even with those inconsitancies I still love my band - and yes - some pple don't need fills - it's not always all about the fills for everyone - and due to the fact that's all we read about are fills we think we need them every month for 6 months - but it's not like that for everyone...

No much to report - my food yesterday Go Lean Oatmeal & raisins 200 2 pork ribs - 300 1 pt bar - 200 1 teaspoon pb - 150 Nuts - 250 Fish Rice Veggies 260 Berrys & lite whip cream 100 OJ and more nuts - 300 = 1310 no wonder I can't get this weight off - to many freaking nuts... Apple -Just cuz you have a normal weight doesn't make you healthy - so I am glad you DH is going for the sleep study - let us know how it went - A couple weeks ago I had some interior pain where I imagine my band is - but nothing bad just some soreness - but its gone... I live in town - with half my neighbors being cops - so I feel pretty safe - I use to babysit for my bro who lived in the middle of a date orchards (family business) and I use to be a little scared to... I like having neighbors who might hear you scream :tt2: - hope you got some sleep last night - I would assume you have a gun living out in the country - if you don't might be a good investment.. Yep I noticed your new pic last night - I could see those eye lash extensions :lol: Joann - My dogs to bark bark bark - then kiss kiss kiss... Erika - Welcome !!! Ok #1 hugs for the complications you have had - they aren't your fault - so quit feeling guilty - Your band hasn't worked very much in the last 11 months. I got to where I am with the help of my band, I had good restriction on my 2nd fill - Yep I have changed my eating and I exercise - but I wouldn't be where I am today with out the help of my little tool.. Once you get your new band (omg I hope your doc is doing all this for free) and you get it working then you will have the tool that is needed to help you get the weight off. But GF right now you don't have it - so don't beat yourself up ok... What's your surgery date??? We will say some prayers for a safe surgery & speedy recovery and that this time you will get a band that works.. Julie - Drive careful and get that fill - and Congrats on the Scale moving - How fantastic !!! Sharon OMW you sound a lot like me - everyone thinks I am the strongest person and can handle everything that is tossed my way - so no one is really there for me to talk to - they never think I need help... And I too am pretty much a loner - before you joined our group - we had a discussion on extrovert - Introverts and you are like me - introvert - around pple all day - so at night you like your quieness... What are you studying?? I have initials after my name for work - did all that back in my 30's (schooling)- I would love to go to school again study theory - physiology, painting - that's what I will do if I every get to retire - but at this present time - I don't want the added pressure of working and studying - I hate pressure - I have enough of it at work (dead lines galore) Doing great on your food - how about that treadmill??? Apples - when you say your band area - did you have pain inside where we imagine our band is or port site ... Did you feel stuck - have heartburn or reflux.. I am glad you are doing ok now - I know that fear about slips -etc all the stuff that can go wrong ... Joann - I have flown from Cali to Minnesota to Vegas & Texas - and flying didn't bother my band at all... So Maybe you will be a lucky one and it doesn't - I would get another fill now and give it 30 days to settle in before you go.and to make sure you aren't too tight..... I would imagine that you are eating healthy - how much are you eating per meal.. Sharon - Hugs GF - I am sorry for your stuggles - I luckly don't have the PMS stuff anymore - but gotta say those craving stay around even if the cuz doesn't visit anymore.. Now I am trying to remember here - You are newly divoriced/separated right?? no kids or grandkid?? Who knows about your surgery - do you have family or freinds around you - What do you do for fun or enjoyment (besides eating :frown: that use to be my most fav past time :tt2:) And sounds like you work for a school?? #1 - I understand about being tired after work and not wanting to get on the computer or talking on the phone - but gotta tell you her gf you can't just sit in front of the t.v. and veg anymore - that activitiy or lack of - will lead you to your drug of choice which is the food.. Do you belong to the January Hotties or whatever 1/09 banders call themselves? Is this the only thread you are posting on?? You will make freinds here that will last you a life time and you will be so comfortable with them that it will seem like you have known them all your life... New habits - that's what you need - the old you sat infront of the t.v. and ate when you were tired from work - I get that cuz when I am super tired - it's a big food trigger for me. New habits are what you need come home from work change clothes and walk 1/2 hr on the treadmill - then sit at the computer - come to lbt and tell us about your day (good & bad) what you had for bf & L - and how your exercise went and what you are having for dinner - then go fix something healthy - eat - shower - then sit to watch t.v. and have your sf pudding or fudge cicle That's my routine - I don't sit down most nights til 8 to watch tv - and gf I am up at 5 - to work by 7:15 - get off at 4 - gym - home - lbt & facebook - dinner - tv - bed.. The reason I asked about the pple around you - is I wonder if you have pple who support you - encourge you ... I don't have a DH so I understand you wanting someone to be proud of you - Heck one time I left the gym and started bawling - My trainer said something really nice and encouraging and I thought OMG that's the only man in your life giving you that kind of support - and it's not like I even want a man in my life I love being single - but having someone who encourages you is very important..Hows that friend who made you bean Soup - is he a good friend I agree with apples that you have to be proud of you yourslef - but since I'm single too - it's nice to have someone to share it with and to be proud of you too... I totallly get that so yes - I am on your shoulder 24/7 encouraging you and pushing you to be the best you --- just like the title on this thread - I'm here to help !!! Oh you guys might not know this - but I am know for being the food cop (on my Lucky #7 thread that was my title and Charlene can atest to it too ) - yep that's me - but it's with love and not judgement - it's cuz I walk in the same shoes as you - and I know what it's like to want to eat even with the band.. But you just gotta not buy the crap - you gotta budget those point/calories - you have to look at the junk you eat as a drug - as the devil - it's not helping you in the long run it's killing your and making you feel bad about you. As to binging this weekend - gf you bought the food - no one else and if you hadn't bought it you wouldn't have eaten it... You really really gotta keep the junk out of the house - I want you to go throw it all away - get the crap out - come on would you leave a bottle of booze on the counter and expect the alcoholic not to drink it.. Part of your new habit is to sit down and write out a menu for the week - go shopping and only buy whats on that list and nothing else... And when that bag of Cookies or bags of candy or ice cream wants into your cart - Just say No - I am not going to let you continue to kill me and make me feel bad about myself. Sharon - I want you to check at least every evening ok - it's part of your new habits - I think it will help and you can share whatever you want - it doesn't have to be just band related.. Julie - just have your doc go slow on the fill and remember I know it seems like winter will last forever - but spring should be here soon - so hopefully you will get to see your grandbabies soon... Becky - Ok if you are eating at least 1/2 to 1 c per meal - I feel better and glad you got some chicken in.. Tonite make gs chicken tacos - and oh the chicken cooked in a little chilli powder garlic is good - but I am having fish cook with el pato sauce (spicey mex tomato sauce) asparagus and rice.... for BF i had go lean kashi oatmeal - has 8 grms pt - and it was pretty good - Lunch 2 small ribs - snack a pt bar --- Well it's 8:06 and I need to go eat - So gang I will cb in the morning... Hell Phyl - I already feel adopted by you and Earl ;0).... It just that we always take for granted what we have... But 43 & 50 are quite young to die - but again tomorrow isn't promised... Well, it will all get done - one day at a time - just hope that some day I won't resent my Sis like I do now... My gf was showing pic's this morning of the party and there are some of me in the back ground - and omw - they looked good - I really am a thin person... It's still hasnt really truly totally sunk in... I know I sound kind down - but I am really ok - looking forward to upcomming cruise - gotta take Andrew shopping - cuz he is going to need a few things - I think I am ok and I will be hitting Marshalls againg shortly too... I love finding the bargains !!!! Ok back to work..... CBL and thanks for the love - it really does help !!!

You are bless to still have your Mom - the Bday party I went to on Saturday - made me sad - They did this book with all the past pictures in it - my gf has her mom & bro - and I am an orphan :hurray: I have no parents or brothers all gone - then had to go to bro's house to me with Estate Sales lady - Yep - poor oh Janet - But am happy that I didn't compensate with food - I will be so glad when this whole estate crap is done - I am a bit of Scarlett O'Hara - I will worry about that tomorrow... And yep looking at all those pple eating - makes us realize that we don't want to go back there - all the weight we have lost - the fantastic NSV - and how much better we all feel is greater than any food... Well, I gotta get my butt in gear - I am leaving early today - meeting with Accountant re - taxes .... So gotta get to work... As Usual CBL :hurray:

CONGRATUALTIONS PHYL 0N THOSE FANTASTIC NSV :hurray:- HOW GREAT !!!!:hurray: I went to the fair today - me & deb - went at 10 a.m had breakfast - 2 eggs & some hash browns - and a couple bites of deb's biscuts & gravy - and i was full but as we walked around oh did i want to eat - and I mean I really hated my band at the moment cuz I just wanted to binge eat - - but as we kept walking the terrible urge left then as it got later and more pple got there I saw this very overweight little girl eating cotton candy - then all the other over weight pple just stuffing their faces - and I told deb - oh hell no - no more food - I didn't even get a cinnamon roll which the fair is famous for - Phyl you didn't have any funnel cake this year?? I did have one treat but it was a fruit:tt2: - a choc covered banana :tongue: but no fudge - fried snicker bars - gelato's - hot dog on a stick - onion rings - We left around 1 and for dinner it's pork ribs veggies maybe some tatoes.. Thanks baby girl - I got that blouse at Cachet -it was pricy but just cuz I could walk into that store and buy something I did - and I love it too.. I am sure glad that your band is ok - I was worried - Glad you are getting $$ back - I go tomorrow - heck I will be happy if I break even - but having GS makes me single head of household which is the very best tax bracket to be in... Yep I remember the blouse & pants :hurray:- I love the outlets in Vegas - and yep - I am a shopper !!!! Doing great on your foods.....

Today my GF & I went to the National Date Festival aka fair We went early - had 2 eggs some hash brown and 2 bites of gf's busicut & gravy - but oh my even after breakfast walking around and see all the food booths - oh did i want to eat - i was full but I wanted to eat - I did have a choc frozen banana - but that was it - after awhile when everyone really started arriving - I saw this little girl who was quite overweight - stuffing cotton candy in her face - then alll these other pple just stuffing food in their faces - and said oh hell no - I am done - didn't even get a cinamon roll ... Dinner pork ribs & veggies and 1/2 baked potatoes.... in 4 weeks - at this time I will be on a ship leaving Los Angeles.... Can't wait...

Candice - I did the crime now I have to do the time - I even went to a bday party for my gf 80 mom today and NO CAKE NONE NADDA ZIP !!!!! Salad - 1/2 ck breast - tomato - watermelon -veggies - No wine either !!!!! In fact I drank 3 bottles of water !!!! I will not I repeat I will not have any more real treats (meaning real sugar) until the rest of the weight I gained is off - I will not let these 3 lbs stay on my body - cuz if I ignore them - then those 3 will turn into 5 - then 10 - then before you know it I will be 250 again - and saying how in the hell did that happen... it happens cuz we ignore those 2 - 3 lbs gains - that's how Ya I don't worry about the # in my band it could be 4.8 or 5.0 not real sure - all I have ever cared about was that I had restriction... Good going on your calories - is DH home yet... Chim - Love your pic's - BF/DTB (daddy to be) is one fine man!!! You guys are going to have one cute baby.... Steph - Glad to hear no crashes - hugs on the migraine my Mom use to get them = I remember her screaming in pain - the doc would come over (yes back in the day when they made house calls) give her a shot and she would be out for 24 hours... Karri - have you had your test yet are you and your band ok??? Well, I did that party thing - it was really nice - then had to go meet w/Estate Sale lady - and now home - I guess I will go watch some tv...

Julie our weight is all relative - Yep you have a few more than me to lose - but it can be done - I was just posting pic's to show that it can be done.. With the help of your band and your work on eating healthy & exercising You can get to your goal - whatever that maybe.. I will tell you something cuz you are younger than me - I don't know why I wasted so many years carrying all that extra weight and telling myself I was fine with the extra weight - I feel so much better - I can't tell you how liberated I feel without all those extra pounds - I hate the saying - nothing taste as good as thin feels - cuz I still love the taste of food - but now I know that if I give in to the taste of food - then I will have to give up the quality of the life I have now and I don't want to do that - Losing the weight improves the quality of your life 100% - you have more energy - you want to do things - you don't want to sit in front of the tv and eat 24/7 - you aren't tired from just vacuuming the living room.. It's not a chore to get dressed - It's not a chore to bring in the grocery's - it's not a chore just to tie your shoes.. Hugs on your surgery - sounds like you didn't have a very easy time of it... Waking up during surgery - I thought that was only on tv... I would have gone after the anesthesiologist (sp) how could they let that happen.. Charlene - Yes you will - you are on your way !!! Thanks Long - Us shorties - are jealous of you tallies - cuz you are so right 25 lbs shows more on us short ones than it does on you tall ones - but again it's all relative... Long I bet it you tracked for 2 weeks it would help you get to onelander .. it's a proven fact - pple who track lose more than those who don't Becky - Under those clothes I have the body of an 90 yr old woman... I am not kidding - but you won't find me posting pics of my in my bra and underwear:lol:... My arms are bad and bug me the most cuz here in the Desert in the Summer it's nice to wear the shorter sleeves - my tummy & thighs have saggy skin too - but it could be worse and heck I had grandma boobs even at 250 - I could use a body lift - but I doubt I would ever have one - I may do arms - but not for a while due to the whole economy thing - I think I need to hang on to the $$ I have for now - I can wear elbow length sleeve - I just have to shop a little harder to find them..o the way I look at it as the saggy skin isn't going to kill me whereas the fat was going to.. The family estate issues have put a big crack in my relationship w/my Sis - and I don't know if it will ever get back to what it was... Becky - if you can't eat hard Proteins you may be too tight - you aren't suppose to be so tight that you can't eat meats.. Please keep and eye on your restriction - being too tight can cause problems Phyl is in Washington - she flew home for a few days to see her daughter and help out with kids cuz SIL was going somewhere and she got a fill while she was there... She should be back soon.. Ant - I don't know - I didn't gain I don't think - I didn't weight myself the morning of surgery cuz I had my colonoscoopy on Friday before my surgery (following Tues) and then Monday another colon cleanse day (2 within 2 days) so I didn't feel that I would be getting an actuate number... If you aren't drinking enough your body is going to hold on to the Water - so just sip all day long and walk and watch your sodium - give it a few days - do you feel like you are retaining water???
