    Laura - Tell me who the F gave you a hard time about the coach purse comment !!! I will go kick their freaking butt !!! We know you were just kidding - Hell your DH is a doc & you are PA - so WTF - I got your back gf... I never had reflux prior to banding and hardly any heart burn - but now I get it from drinking Water sometimes- My doc's suggestion is to take pecide daily - I agree w/you that the weight gain is what has made your band tighter.. Yep you do live a very active life - but you gotta find 1 hr for you.. You gotta make healthier food choices. I think you have gotten complacement at where you are at.. If you are happy there that's fine - but I think and know you can do better - Hint Hint - Push Push.. Linda - Making our thread personal I don't think it's doable and l then how would newbies find us - but WTH none of them stay around too long anyway - I know our thread has lots of veiw - and lately with the new site enhanchments - pple are just posting all over the place I agree w/you 100% is they can't post here and join the group - don't send a flaming pm to someone... Charlene - Hugs on the pbing - I have never ever pb or slimed that long - once it comes up and can be anywhere from 1 - 3 throwups - it's done and over with and then band is usually wide ope.. Well I gotta get back to work - No this isn't a furlough friday - I am taking 1/2 day off - Eve/Karen should be here around 2 p.m. on Friday... I think

    Karla - Green Bay won !!! Karla - I am very fortunate - I inherited some $$ - or I would be in the same place as you.. Plus I have worked since I was 19 - have had some kind of retirement since then from the majority of my jobs .. So I have been saving for a long long time.. I really need more than a couple K's more like $400 - would give me a good cushion - but that's a lot of freaking money and with the market the way it is - I will be working for sometime.. I'll have to look for my dream book :0)

    Good Morning Yep I tried to ck in yesterday - server down... Well skipped Yoga - Went to get nails done but shop closed for Chinese New Years WTH they are Vietnamese LOL - so did my Target shopping - got pic's developed from Vaca that I got from DS & DGD - I put pic's in albums during the game - so I really didn't watch - just listened - the VW commercial - is my gf - friends son - I had already seen it on Utube - it was cute... I don't like Steelers - cuz I am a Cowboy fan and it goes back to the day when they had a big rivalry ;0) - So I am glad Packers one - but really could have cared less LOL Charlene - Yep Apples and Eve coming Friday !!! House is ready ;0) - LOL on fillers instead of thumb issue LOL I agree 100% LOL. Linda - you DGD is just a cuties - Yep they bring us so much joy - I know I loved the pic's of me & Kaitlin on our vacation - We really did make great memories.. Laura - Hugs on your band - when do you go for a look.. Well it's 6 - that means a short shower - gotta get going - Love to all...

    Good Morning Peeps Lbt was down for a while yesterday..... Went to get my nails done - the shop was closed for Chinese New Years - WTH they are Vietnamese LOL So did my target shopping - got some pics developed and got all our vacation pics in albums Kaitlin called and we talked for a while - Joseph called and we talked for a minute too- OMG it is so cool to look at these pictures - really did make some great memories - I did that while the game was on so really didn't watch it - listened to halftime - I know alot of pple say it sucked.. Candice - You really know how to work Peter don't you !!!!! That's too funny - I'm not good at that - maybe another reason I'm single LOL Phyl - Hugs on the Queen's issues - Yep I'm all about planning - that's why I am working Need a couple more $100 ks to retire - I don't want to be an old lady eating cat food.. Insurance is the most important thing too.. IMHO just quit asking him if he smoking - leave it alone.. Then you won't have to get pissed off - and tequilla and fb don't go together LOL - I have to many work pple who are my friends so I can't complain about work LOL - Steph - Can you find a new doc who doesn't make you feel stupid - I know you are in a small town but can't you go somewhere else... Never had the boob pain - hormones is all I can think of. Karla - Where are you... Well it's Monday... Woke up in the middle of the nite to pee thought it was Saturday.. Hate that..

    Good Morning Peeps.. Stayed up til midnite - then woke up 2 or 3 times with leg cramps - I drank coffee yesterday but no water... Don't think I'm going to gym this morning - going to get nails done and weekend shopping so I can come home and chill - Phyl I can't imagine how hard it is for your friend - I guess another reason not to get married/attached - I know I'm missing out on the good but not the bad - and they didn't plan - why would she loose everything - that wasn't too smart on their part - I guess I am a planner - to make sure I have enough to live on when retired - don't over extend myself.. I have no debt. If I couldn't pay it in cash - then not buying it.. Or if that's not an opition like a house or car - then I would make sure I could make the payments.. No life insurance - no retirement... Yep as a single person - household stuff can be over whelming... Glad you were there for her.. Well it's 9:22 need to get dress.... CBL

Budget your calorie to feed you when you are the most hungry. Melissa - Hugs on your fall - hope you are going to be ok..     Yep Karla - I cleaned out my linen closet - bagged up old bedspreads - I hate throwing them away - always come in handy when you need to make a pallet ;0) - then when to Marshall's candles towel exercise pants - pj's (which I didn't need) then to Target - for washing stuff (soap & softener - Candices Ultra Sensitive Tide ;0) and I got a Shark (steam cleaner) and some more towels - going to need beach towels this summer - all mine are 7 yrs old and very raggie - but not ready to spend $12 a towel - ..Got my clothes washed - the 2 other beds stripped and washed and remade (still have one to do - dryer just went of) Tomorrow - Yoga and relaxing and oh ya menu planing and shopping - cuz I won't have time during the week.. Steph I got the 2 taste of home cookbooks - comfort food and diet - OMG great recipes - I love that they have all the nutritional values.. Have you gone to you gyn??? Had blood work done - they can tell by your hormone levels if you are pre-menopausal.. I always bled like a freaking pig.. I bleed for a solid week - clot and all - toward the end - I would have my period every 23 days and they lasted 1 week - it seemed like I was on me period all the time ... But I have never been bothered w/cramps - well except when I had an IUD.. Go see your gyn ;0) OMG LOL on the sex on your period - gotta say most of my men freinds weren't down with that LOL I had one guy who didn't mind LOLGot you beat - I had to wear 2 overnighter pads !!!! and one time I thought I was losing a baby as big as the clot was LOL -- Tampons were a waste of time for me - but ya I would wear 2 and 2 pad too like at work.. I am so lucky - no hot flashes or mood issues for me in menopause :0) it's been a piece of cake.. Thanks been gone since they changed the site... I hear you on work Karla - I wish I didn't have to go either Well Steph since Jeff won't on your period - you could alway use bob (battery operated :0) and get the same relief LOL - Gosh we sound like powder room gone wild LOL Phyl - How did your day go today - still pissed - DH still pouting Well need to go make the bed while sheet are warm and start another load

    Good Morning Gang - Site back up !!!! How is everyone..... Even though we were down yesterday - not much going on - busy at work - came home played my fb games - did some wash - cleaned up the kitchen - Andrew worked both jobs yesterday so didn't get house cleaned - and i have company coming next weekend (Karen & Eva from my mentor thread) so gotta wash sheets and dust the guest rooms - since the kids were here last weekend.. Andrew appreciated the food - he called last night and was eating - I guess I am going to have to pick up extra when I'm shopping - cuz the kid needs to eat and doesn't want to ask for help - Love his independance - but ya gotta eat - he's skinny (I mean he really is) and doesn't need to lose anymore weight

    Good Morning Peeps.... Kab Welcome - Hugs for your struggles - The only real advice I can give you is take your meds - Log your food and exercise - no excuses - just do it ;0) Losing weight is simple math - calorie in vs calories burned - You have the tool - how's your restriction - what are you eating (give us an example of your daily food) - If the tapes are too hard you won't do them - so just walk - go to an indoor mall and walk or join a gym and use the treadmil - don't worry about the pple at the gym - I didn't this time - I just went for me - I lost the majority of my weight just walking on the treadmil. You can do this... Well Gang our thread is back - I facebooked last night and did some wash - need to wash sheets and mop this weekend - Oh I found some really good cookbooks from QVC... Taste of Home - Guilt Free Cooking & Guilt Free Dieting - THEY ARE GREAT.. They give you all the nurtritional & cal info on the food - and have some really good recipes - I am going to make food from it when Karen & Eva come next weekend ;0)

  14. #1 take out the diet mentality - I have not dieted since I started my journey 3.6 yrs ago... My goal was to get healthy - to get healthy you have to eat healthy and exercise and allow for treats too.. I am a FIRM believer in keeping a food diary - I asked a lady at work how she kept her weight down - she said when I have gained a few lbs - I start keeping a food diary writing everything down and keeping my calories around 1000- 1200.. She's one of those pple who we think - can eat whatever she wants and stay thin - Well there is no such person really - and we have to quit thinking that we can eat junk and quit exercising and stay thin or lose the weight... This is about a LIFETIME LIFESTYLE change in our eating and exercise habits - If we want to lose the weight and maintain it we have to understand this.. We have the tool to help us.. So why are we going to screw that up.. I've maintained my weight loss for 2.5 yrs now - How you ask - Cuz I eat healthy 98% of the time allow for treats 2% of the time and continue to workout 4 days a week.. I know that I have to do this to maintain the weight loss - I know that my previous eating habits and lack of exercise is what got me fat in the 1st place - I feel to freaking good to go back there.. I can also tell you that almost every single night since 7/17/07 I have had dessert - SF puddings, sf ice cream, sf yogurt... I go on vacation and eat what I want but continue some type of exercise - but when I come home I go right back to eating healthy.. It was my Birthday last weekend - I had bday cake & ice cream Sat & Sunday - Monday morning it when in the trash !!! I looked at the cake a few time during the day on Sunday -(in the past I would have eaten it all day long) but said - you are going to have some tonite - if you eat it now - no treat tonite - I wanted to save it for the evening. Peeps - you can do this - you just have to understand that you can't eat high fight - high sugar - high carb foods 24/7 365 - you can have them as treats - but on a daily basis you have to eat healthy and exercise.. As the saying goes you can't have your cake and eat it too.. You have to decide for yourselves - what feels better for you - being morbidly obese or thin and healthy - I hate the saying nothing taste as good as thin feels - cuz I love the taste of food - (fat & sugar) but I can tell you nothing feels better than being able to live your life with out your weight limiting what you can or can't do.. And I can still have that fat & sugar even now and then as long as I exercise and eat healthy the majority of the time.. I'm a 56 yr old grandma - who can now zip line - Para Sail - scuba dive - hike a mountain - walk all day long - leg press 400 lbs - I'm the grandma who can catch air - not the fat one sitting on the beach looking at everyone else have fun.. Use your tool - quit sabotaging yourselves - Love yourselves enough to do this for you - to improve the quality of your lives - Don't let that little devil tell you it's ok to eat the junk - cuz it's not - it's going to catch up w/you.. Sit down plan your meals - plan your treat - budget your calories to allow for sf dessert at nite and make sure you get your exercise..

    Good Evening Gang Back from the gym - my arms are killing me from Mondays work out & yesterday - Now my legs are going to be sore in a couple of days. OMG Phyl - just wear them - say they were from last yr ;0) he's just doesn't remember LOL.. No wind here - it's 60 I think is what the car said when I left gym Chilli sounds good - I have hamburger - could bbq it and some broc - I'm hungry and don't know what to eat Candice - I like the heating - quilt - keeps you warm ;0)

    Here's the instruction Jessica gave me on how to download pic's I haven't tried it - looks like a lot of work - easier to post on fb Janet, First I upload the pic into the gallery on LBT. Then right click on the picture and select properties. The url for it will be there. Be sure you right click on the picture that is smaller in size, like the thumbnail. It will post the same size as the pic you right click on. The size is adjustable but that is a little more detailed. Well back from the gym... Had bootcamp tonite - had a good work out... Phyl - How's the wind your way - we had a little but not much ... Are you getting my emails. Candice - Hugs on the rash - that would be the freaking pits - are you getting all this bad weather your way..     I distract myself - I come to lbt and post - or play games on facebook - and I budget my calories (yes I still think about them - I don't keep a food diary anymore - did for the 1st yr) and I save about 300 cal for nite time Snacks - I eat those 100 cal snack pack popcorn I eat one piece at a time - not handfuls ;0) and I usually have a sf fudgesicle or sf pudding

    Good Morning Gang.. Andrew wanted to take me out to dinner last night (his only night off) for my bday - but I had gym - so told him - ok great - but I have to go to gym 1st -;0) my arms are going to be sore ;0) - so after gym we went and had mexican food - 1/2 taco and couple bites of Beans.. So by the time I got home it was late - read but didn't post I was tired - busy at work.. Hugs and prayers for all those in the Snow !!!! Busy at work - have gym again tonite - lunch w/gf today - I have been really good about my vitimans since 1/1/11 ;0) - I have been sleeping so much better too.. Looking forward to Eva & Apples visit... Lori got your fb bday wish ;0) - Sure glad the shower was good.. Eva & Apple - so glad you guys are having such a good time - can't wait...
