    Darling toot away gf (and no it didn't sound that way to me at all) you totally deserve to !!!! losing 125 lbs in 1 yrs time is a MAJOR VICTORY....:grouphug: Congrats on those 8's !!!! Yep I was like you I thought that 14 would be great and normal - but here I am a solid 4 with a couple of 2's in my closet. Julie - It's the full moon out there - there is a choc cake in the lunch room - OMW how I want some - its from some french bakery - I had a teaspoon bite - but gf I gotta tell you I wanted to say forget it I am eating a whole slice (this was after fish & collard greens for lunch and I was physicllay full) So just cuz you don't have the restriction you use to you still know that even with it you can eat around the band so you just have to stay strong... Ya the band stops you from overeating healthy foods but it does nothing againist our trigger food. Go drink some crystal like have a slice of watermelon - get up and walk out side - just find a distraction - get the trigger foods out of the house Hugs & Prayers to you to find the strenght to fight your demon foods - Just think as those bad choice as the devil sitting on your shoulder - telling you its ok to eat this or that - well if he was telling you to go murder someone whould you - if he told you to go steal something would you - Hell no - so why do you listen when he tells you to eat something (remember the whole apple & garden - what happend??)

    Welcome doddlebug - PJTax family is the same way and it bugs her too - I think it's cuz our families see us all the time and so it's not that noticable - heck my gs lives w/me he was 16/17 during my weight loss phase - I lost 100 lbs and he never ever said a word - his friends did - but he didn't - I think that it was cuz no matter what size I was I was still his gm and he loved me - he didn't see it - he just sees my heart.

    Phyl you are good at remembering what you do on the Wii - I'm not but I did get back on last night cuz it was REALLY BUGGING ME THAT I COULDN'T GET BUBBLE GIRL TO THE END. Well guess what - persistants pays off I DID IT - Dont remember my time - I did 3 hrs of the Wii fit and I guess that's the max for the day?? so my overall time on exercise yesterday on the wii was out of the park.. Congrats on your 1/2 lbs - you are doing fantastic.... Ok Kari- Congrats on the 2.5 but for the rest of your post I don't know what to say.. So I will leave it alone... Hope today Monday you make better food choices... Karla - that would piss me off someone being that inconsiderate to come in right before closing like that - ya I understand if they just bought a rake - but all that extra work Phyl - I turned off the sound - so I didn't hear the bumble bee - just the sound of it got me all uptight... Turn the sound down and try it. I will start wrighting down what I do - this morning step and advance step - did 35 minutes I think I did some snowboarding too - getting better at that Tell them to take their key and shove it - can't wait to hear what the lady next door to you reaction is :0) !!!

    I have done I think 6 hrs of Wii Fit & Wii Active - there is some little envelope that give time for each - since I haven't read any of the books - I have just get on it and do it WII has now replaced my farming addiction.... Better moving than sittiing on my butt.. No asprin - no motrin - or naproxin - no nothing but tyenlol.. Well dear you have done good - it's not going to move every day... Mine this morning 138.5 - let see if it stays there... Well since i have been on the wii all morning have gotten nothing done - need to go clean the kitchen and start my collard greens... cbl

    Long - OMW YOU LOOK FABULOUS !!! I know you feel 10 yrs younger and have 10x more energy !!! WTG - You have done such a fantastic job !!! Linda - gf I when I got there I said to myself you can't do this.. but you know our old minds like to trick us into thinking this way - went in all reality we can do it.. My calfs are are little sore this a.m. but not bad - we will see how tomorrow goes - it usually takes me a couple of days to get sore.. Laura you are so right about how things use to be and we are still here - 12 hrs is a long time for a little one.. Why did you push the yokes to the side - that's where the protein is - it's the part that I eat 1st.. and it's my fav - i put them over my tatos and just have a few bites Julie glad you had a good time playing cards - I like playing myself - but I only know how to play gin - spades - I love playing spades Well off to do my wii and read the paper - cbl

    Get dannon lite & fit yogurt 80 calories no fat !!! Vanila good with granola - becare w/ the granola - it's not cheap either in the calorie dept... I have never tried the greek yogurt - mostly cuz it's full of calories but higher in protein - but I am a calorie counter.. It's suppose to be 92 today - it's 69 right now but breezy..

    Not sure if it' 2 miles to the top or the whole thing - I got that info off a website on trails - I think maybe a mile up but to me it did seem like 2 :thumbup: I didn't wear a watch - it looks like a long hike you are going up 1000 ft... Yep the whole weight less have to exercise more or eat less is so true - this is why maintenance is so hard... We burn less calories at a lower weight !!! Phyl that would be fun !!! What is going on about knee issues have you made any appointments yet ?? No Ibuprofen - it's not good for your pouch (erosion) !!!! Tylenol only!!! Steph Glad you are back and had a good time - sorry about the weight though :0) but truly you shouldn't have any problem getting it off... I have only done 1 session on the EA the band isnt' strong enough for me - I need one that is tighter since I do lift weights - so I am going to go today and look for some Well gang I did survive yesterday - Went to the hospital to visit my friend Linda - then to the store - I made turkey/spinach Lasanga for dinner - and I got some collard greens to cook for today.. Yesterday food - 8 oz oj 100 - popcorn 100- 1 string cheese 100 - 1.5 serving of lasanga (600? didn't use alot of cheese)- grapes (200)- 2 sf pudding 120 and 1/4 cup sherbet 60.. Lite juice (80) = 1360 ok off to do my wii this morning !!! TTYL

    Good Morning Gang Up at 4:30 - did my wii - then went for a 2 mile hike 1000 ft elevation - This was a 1st for me - it was a great great work out - alot harder than the treadmill !!! Gonnaget - GF don't know what to tell you - this is a lifestyle change that you gotta make - I can't tell you if you messed your band or not as I'm not a Doc - All I can tell you is you gotta pull up those boot straps and move forward - you can't change the past - all you can do is move forward and make better choices Your band is only a tool 75% of the work is going to be up to you -

    Good Morning - Up this morning 4:30 did 30 mintues Wii - with the board turned correctly - I got across the thightrope!!! - did the step - I think it was 30 Minutes - Mopped my bathroom - washed a load of clothes and was out the door at 6:30 - The Bump and Grind Hike Popular Rancho Mirage trail with wide, well-maintained paths for hiking and mountain biking. 2 miles to the top, 1,000ft. elevation gain. Trail options include steeper, shorter and more rugged paths at various points on the mountain or a longer and wider path with a gentler slope. Panoramic views of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert. Don't know actual time cuz we stopped and rested on the top and I had to stop a couple times going up for like less than a minute - It was a very very good workout - 1:45 minute total I think for actual walking time - 1000 ft - elevation - I was really really proud of myself - Karri this is where we are going on Saturday early if it's hot by then - you can run the sucker - I'm walking !!! No way would I do a 10 mile hike - this 2 miles was enough for me - maybe when I get more conditioned I would but doing this hike was totally diff than doing the treadmill - I do 15 inclines for like 1 or 2 songs then go back to 6 incline - where as this is a continous incline - Kari - darling you need an intervention on farming !!! You need to move - get the wii - it's fun to challenge yourself and the more you do the more games that get unlocked - I haven't gotten on the scale today - maybe after my shower... Ok - I need to shower and maybe take some tylenol my hips are aching a bit... CBL

    Most likely cuz you were farming all day Ok gang wand to know how stupid I am !! I had the freaking Wii board backwards !!!! No wonder I couldn't keep pace - it said left I put my left food on it but it didn't work - I leaned left - it leaned right - it wasn't til I was doing the EA (phyl I saw it on QVC I think or tv or read about it somewhere a couple of weeks ago and on FB Jackie was asking about it) Well anyway I was doing the skating - it said raise left leg - I did but the Mii right leg went up - after 2 rounds - I looked down at the board and the light bulb went off !!!! STUPID!!!.. So tomorrow I will retry the Wii fit balance & tightrope - I finallay got to 34 ft but the clock ran out on me.. Kari - well that "why do I have to work so hard when I look so good even without PS is a problem " I gotta say that's how the 2 lbs creeped back on - oh a bite of this or that skipping going to the gym on Tues - that extra treat here and there - What really worries me about PS is that I won't be able to exercise - and I so don't want to ever get out of that habit - yes I have been doing it for almost 2 yrs now - and that is the LONGEST time I have ever stuck to anything - including eating healhty.. I know that I have read on the other threads that alot of pple are struggling who are 2 yrs out (don't remember if it was the ps or April 07 thread) but pple are having a hard time.. But that just goes to show us that - this is a battle that is going to have to be fought everyday of our lives - some days it will be easier but then again some days are going to be so very hard.. Of course - I just jumped in myself - Yesterday 30 minutes on the Wii - today 1.5 hrs !!!! 30 min this morning and 1 hr tonite... I like the EA but I need to get some bands that have more resentants - the one that came with it is too easy - for a beginner it would be fine - but I do lift weights and this band isn't giving me enough of a work out.. Karla - I never in this world thought that I would be a solid 4 with a few 2's in my closet - I was happy with a 14 - then the 12 omw I was in hog heaven - the came the 10 - then 8 - then 6 and I said oh that's it a dream come turn - then those 6's got too big - I didn't do anything else but eat healty and work out and my body has found it's happy weight and size. So like Karri says don't limit yourself to a # - just keep eating healthy & exercisse and what is ment to be will come.. you have 5 kids !!!! I just thought the 3 girls - I was confused on the FB pic when you said all your girls Ok this is a perfect example of what I am talking about - you are pouch full but hungry - well if you are physicall full - how can you be hungry - head hunger - this is why you can not be so tight that you can't eat a meal - cuz then you are going to end up eating around your band.. Karri - I think I like it - did one set at intermediate pace - worked out 26 minutes (ran boxing kicking arm curls lungs)- and I think that included the instruction - I worked up a little sweat - just learning it but think I am going to like it.. Ok gang it's 9:37 and I haven't eaten and I need to eat if I am going on 1.5 hike at the crack of dawn - and I can't wait to come home and re-try my wii fitness now that I have the board figured out :tongue2: Oh gang - please say a prayer for my gf Linda - she is the one who had bypass in Septemeber - she is in the hospital with a lower intenstal blockage (I think it's lower just remembered the words blockage) She called me this morning and said she wasn't feeling well that she went to the ER and they said everything was fine - and to see her reg doc - so she calls her primary care doc - not her wls doc and makes an appointment for Monday - well I tell her she better call her wls doc cuz this is her stomach that's hurting and he needs to know.. Well don't know what happend but her daughter called to nite and she's in the hosptial (Linda would a blockage have anything to do with bypass surgery) They were waiting for surgeron to come and talk to her - I told them that the doc here needs to talk to her wls doc before they do any cutting... Linda is Auntie Linda to my son and I am Auntie Janet to her kids - I am an adopted member of their family - I love her dearly so please keep her in your prayers tonite... Thanks !!!!

    Another Post gone!!!!!:tongue2::cursing::thumbup: It wasn't much just telling Candice that my balance truly isn't bad - it's my cordanation that is - when I am suppose to lean right I lean left and about karri tt - she explained it better than me.. Kari I did the running this morning and like I said - I broke into a little sweat.. But again I am a big head sweater - my trainer said that's good cuz you are burning calories - might not be true I don't beleive everything he says - but I like to think it does Sorry Karla - I just couldn't take it anymore !!! Everyone is always talking about their Wii - for 2 yrs now they have been - and I figured that I could use it mostly on my off days from the gym... I have a hard time following the step - I look at the other pple feet cuz watching the steps can confuse me cuz i tend to look ahead.. Congrats Karri - I was wearing my size 2 too today (remember Candice the ones I got when we were in Vegas at the Bass Store) I have only 2 - size 2's - I am a solid 4 and happy with that - but do feel super good when I have my 2's on :0) Ok here's a first - I AM GOING HIKING IN THE MORNING !!! This is my 1st hike ever - we have something called the bump and grind where alot of pple go to hike.. Well my gf from work and I were suppose to go shopping (she wanted my fashion advice) but she called to cancel cuz she's going to san diego next weekend- and she invited me to go hiking with her - so i thought WHAT THE HELL - I'll try it - and then when my DD is here next week we could go on Saturday morning - she can run it while i walk it :0)... This will be interesting - I gotta be at gf house at 6:50 a.m - So If I'm not on the computer by 1 - be concerned (jk) but really this will be a NSV of sorts - I guess I gotta live thru it 1st :0) Karri my GD Kaitlin is a DD too - she got a suit at Marshalls - its sorta cute - just a little old for her - that's the problem with having big boobs they don't make suits to fit some one who's small - normally DD cups in the plus size only - But don't worry I love to shop and suit will be on sale cuz I know summer is just starting but heck next month they will start bring out the winter stuff... Ok I gotta my closet cleaned - now I need to mop my bathroom - trying to get some cleaning done before DD gets here.. Plus I want to get on my Wii and try out the rest of the games on the fit - and then try the EA... Plus I am hungry... Food today Bf- SB protein bar 140 cal Lunch: Chick & Salad 350 (more avocado today) Snack: protein bar 140 cal & pringles 70 cal Got 500 left !!!

    Ya I got the EA too - I haven't tried that one yet - but my trainer says that working with bands is a really good exercise I agree with you on the wii fit - it is a little slow even though I am not good - I hate how long it takes you to get back to the actual exercise - like the step this morning and then hula hoop - But I did work up a little sweat this am - and I was moving and not sitting on my arse... so that's something.. I am going to try the EA tonite... I need to know barefoot or with shoes - the whole reason I really got it was cuz I figured I could do it on the days I don't go to the gym Sunday - Thurs - Friday and those Tuesdays that I don't make it - or can do in the morning on the days I do go to the gym - Does anyone have any of the other games (exercise) like Jillian Michales - I think I may look at the viedo store and try them out before I buy anything... Ok back to work... Darling - I am the resident sheriff - but dosen't mean I always pratice what I preach - heck if I did I wouldn't have had a weight of 143 !!!! I think it's just that I can't keep the scale at 138 like I was doing - since Easter - it has been flucating 138 maybe 3 time - but usually around 139 - 140 - 141 I know I am obessing - but imho - i think it's better than saying "f" it and letting those lbs keep adding up til I'm back at 250 !!!

    1Day - Hugs on the loss of your friend... Joann - Sounds like you are doing great and that this tweek may have you at your sweet spot (fingers crossed) I do what you all to know that it is normal to feel hungry between meal. I usually get hungry within 3-4 hrs after a hard Protein meal - Now if my meal has been more of a slider/softer food - then I can be hungry within and hour of eating.. Also - being busy really really is key for me if I am doing something - I don't think about food - but if I am watching tv - bored - I want to eat ... Meredith - I don't know why someone would say such a thing to someone else... I understanding thinking it - but actually saying it - Hugs - My Mom use to say when I was a little girl "can you beleive she weighed 3 lbs at birth - she sure has made up for it and the You are so pretty - too bad you are over weight) Laura - I didn't travel til 6/08 almost 1 yr out - and that was to a band conference - so I get you on your leaving your safety net - but you eat out sometime if I remember correctly - the only thing is FF restrauants aren't a banders friend.. You can get a hamburger and just eat the patty (I have done that) or a chick sandwich and just eat the chick - cup of refried Beans - hold the cheese - egg burritto just eat the guts and now a days most ff rest have salads - make up little snack bags of nuts - Jerky - I know Apples will have some great traveling snack ideas for you.. Well last night I got a Wii - my age was 49 - not bad for a 54 yr old - by I am very uncorrdinated - they call it balance - it's not so much that my balance is bad - it that you can't tell me to move my feet one way then my arms another - my brain gets confussed easily so this will be a good extra workout for the body and the brain,... Well gotta get to work - TGIF - CBL :biggrin:

    GOOD MORNING GANG I got a Wii - fit & new sport... Yep I did it - you all talk about it so much I didn't want to be left out :biggrin: Well I am very uncoordinated - they call it balance but its that I can't move my feet then add arms !!!! But my wii fit age on something last night was 49 - so not bad.. Do you do it with shoes on or off - last night I did it with no shoes (30 minutes) and this morning (got up at 4:30) did it with shoes - So far the down hill jump I did the best on - sucked on the down hill skiing - step was sorta dumb - again I do better when some one is calling out the instructions and not looking at the screen.. I guess it's about practice and learning the system.. So I am in on the Wii challenge too - last night 30 minutes - I was on the phone for 1.5 hrs with a lady from Virginia who is being banded 6/17 - we have been talking since last year - then my DIL called - I didn't get off the phone till after 8:30 - I think i did 30 minutes this morning - not sure I will ck tonite - when I do some more - but it does get you sweating....:eek: Yesterday food - BF - egg & bacon (guts of a jimmy dean egg mcmuffin) the whole thing is 200 c - but I just had the egg/bacon threw away the muffin & cheese - oh ya had a ww string cheese 50 ca - so I am guessing total bf 125 cal Lunch - Chicken/ Salad - 310 cal Dinner - Tuna/Salad/avocado/dressing/onion = 360 cal Snack - Jerky 35 - Juice 80 - chicken tender 200 Total 1110 cal I am glad to hear this !!!! Phyl I gotta give you major props for doing the wii with your knee issues - OMW - I can just imagine how it hurts you !!!! Karla - It's great news about your Dad !!! Take it that some of your food yesterday wasn't solid :tt1: CANDICE - I AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU :biggrin:- I SHOULD HAVE MADE THIS CHALLENGE AGES AGO - LOOK HOW WELL YOU HAVE DONE IN THE LAST WEEK !!!! (check out her ticker!!!) KEEP IT UP GIRL YOU ARE DOING FANTASTIC !!!:thumbup: Denise - Calories good:thumbup: - I don't count protein any longer - but I do have some at every meal - (well most days) Heck the way I look at it some days you want carbs (healthy and in moderation) and you don't have much taste for protein - but it all even out. Last night it was 9:30 when I go off the wii - and it was too late to cook - so I was going to have just a regular salad - but knew I needed protein so threw in a 3 oz can of tuna.. Well off to get some work done... CBL TGIF !!!

    LOL Ya you were lucky it was early and slow - I have only done that in the privacy of my house - sitting on the pot then all of a sudden whatever wants to come back up - get tp - but it doesn't do crap for slime... I don't carry anything with me in the car - but I ususal alwasy have a towel from working out and one for the dogs when they are in the car.

    Darling - I have eaten raw carrots only a couple of time and I have had to chew very very well and not eat too fast - to me 6 little fingers in 2 minutes is fast - how are you feeling now.. I know you go on the 10th for your fill - what's the last day of school?? Monday or Tuesday?? Girl - run to the store this very minute and spend the $59 on you for the Wii fit console - Now not tomorrow today - you can spend that on you - you deserve it.. Just like you deserve to be healthy and fit... !!!! Well, the only time I have eaten and walked was at the fair a choc covered banana :0) - I could do it no problem :0) Well back from lunch - 4 oz ck breast - salad - am full.. it was good 3 bottle of water drank - :0)..

    Phyl - I will be saying prayers too - That's scary - flying in a homemade plane that has been having electrical problems - I don't think I would be getting in it - I am glad you can't... Ruby - I'm with you I think I am getting one this weekend if I can find one - everyone talks about it all the time - I played at my DS's house but I would like the wii fit & and the new exercise thing they have wii something - bands yoga etc.. I haven't gotten one for the same reason - and I am going to have to give up some tv time - lbt time and fb time to do it - but I think it will be fun.. Oh yes another competitor !!!! You are a great writer - but darling I think you ate them too fast - 2 minutes 6 carrots plus the grape - but OMW - you bp'd for that long - I guess I am lucky - once I get it up - I'm done - I dont bp for hours - You are on liquids for the rest of the day... Also - I had 15 minutes before lunch to killl and I am STARVING - but reading this story - distracted me and I forgot about it till right now - it's 12:07 and I am going to go eat. :w00t:)

I'm at work - it's 7:30 been up since 4 - lets see how I do today- starving just ate a ww string cheese 50 cal.. had 16 oz coffee and 3/4 of 16.9 water - I think I will have some Kashi oatmeal in a bit - well around 9 - cuz I won't eat again till noon - chicken & salad - My scales this morning pre gym 139.5 - after gym 139 - so I have a week to get the 1 to 1.5 lbs off - but this has been my problem - I can't seem to get back to the 138 # - truly I am fine with 140 and below - but truly want to be in the 130's and to me 139.5 counts :redface: Oh to the movies - ya I would - they do that here the last week of school really isn't school at all - sorta stupid why kids have to go - once the final grades are in - then that should be it - go home... Well that's MHO Ok off to get started on my desk - TTYL
