    Anyone else still in pain?

Great post! My surgeon said pain at site in which they removed tummy will hurt from 2-4 weeks. I was sleeved on 11/27, was doing fantastic up until yesterday. Now have pain every time I move or sneeze.(yeow!) I hate to hear that we're all in the same boat but I feel better knowing that I'm not alone in this.

    Approved!

Congrats to all of the approved sleevers! I remember hearing about my approval, It took awhile for me to realize that the fight was over! It was as if that was my soul mission for 3+months ...jumping through all of the hoops. It all happens in due time. Then it's like it was all just a dream (nightmare, lol)! Just remember you're worth all the effort that you have put in to wrap this sleeve up! I am now 10days post op!!! Woot, Woot!

    2 Months Post Op

    Wow! Fantastic!
  11. Hey! Me Too! I am thrilled with it! I got it about a week before surgery. I threw some superfoods (spinach, kiwi, kale, carrot, fig and cancer Hateing cabbage) in it this morning. I truly want to take full advantage of this gift of health that has been given to me.
  12. I am 5 days out and would love to use a straw! I have a really great blender/juicer that can make just about anything into a liquid. I am also looking forward to soft foods. Each day is definitely better than the day before! I actually celebrated my first bowel movement today. Hallelujah!!
  13. That's wonderful news!

    4 Days Post Op... Advice?

I am 4days post op also. I work all day to get in water. I know I am still not getting enough water in yet. I haven't had a bowel movement and can only take a couple sips at a time. My surgeon said that I will hate him now but love him later because he makes a tighter sleeve than most. He said my stomach is only the size of my pointer finger. I am more worried about getting my water in for now so I don't get dehydrated. I will worry about more protein later. Too bad no one has come out with a Chettos flavored protein shake. I am already tired of the variety of sweet shakes out there.

    Going Crazy

Hey good luck to everyone! I am day 3 post op and learning to take slooww sips of liquid. My husband was terrific while I was in hospital for 2 nights. He took better care of me than the nurses did. Now that we are home I hope his help continues. My biggest complaint would be the pain where the port was. Every time I have to use my core muscles it really hurts. This too shall pass. I still can't believe it finally happened ! YaY Sleevers!

    Newbie! Sleeve Surgery Nov. 27Th

Hey future sleevers! I am so excited! I get mine tomorrow the 27th. I still can't believe it! After jumping through all the insurance hoops, I got approved and I get to use the surgeon that I originally visited. The hospital had replaced him after he let them know he was going to start his own practice. So I followed him instead of having the fresh out of residency surgeon. I am excited to hear how all of us do in our personal journey. I especially liked reading the posts about how people have answered questions from people inquiring about weight loss. I think major changes in eating habits is what I am going to stick with. Good luck everyone!
