Is there a list online? I live overseas and we have meds from allover the world; Germany, France, US and Middle East, etc....I'd have to look up chemical names not market names.

I had pain medication in the hospital post op, but since I've been home, nothing...thank God I haven't needed anything. I'm a Naproxen fan, well I was before surgery, when I had back pain, etc. I went to the ER, I guess the Doc there is inexperienced with sleeve patients and afraid to cause me any problems. Thanks so much everyone! You've given me hope that tomorrow I can get some REAL meds to end my suffering.

It's vacation! That's how life should be (in my mind) If I can "behave" myself all year, I deserve to live it up on vacation. My problem was everyday was "vacation". Like Spatters3 said, the wagon will be there tomorrow or when vacation is over.

thanks for posting! this does give me hope! I'm 9 weeks out and have a function on Sunday (late Thanksgiving in Lebanon lol) I'm so glad that we didn't do it at Thanksgiving time, now I can eat some turkey

My surgeon said that he actually would prefer hemorrhage than blood clots...so he gives blood thinners before and after surgery. Neither sounds like fun to me!!

should I consider it constipation if I haven't gone in three days, but I don't feel uncomfortable in any way...I don't feel constipated, I just happened to think this morning that I hadn't gone in a couple of days. Tomorrow is weigh in day, and I don't want to be disappointed because I am literally full of sh*t! lol

thanks for clearing that up for me! I confess that I do eat too fast sometimes. I confess that the worst feeling I've had since surgery is after eating a sweet potato cooked in our fireplace....not sure if it was the actual sweet potato, the butter, or eating too fast that made me miserable.....felt like I was choking for about 45 minutes.

hey Mrs, I forgot to tell you....you might already know. there are several "american" product stores all over the Dahiya. There are three in Bir Hassan (Amtrag and Costco), one in St Therese (EZ shop) and one in Sfeir (Deals), oh forgot one...it's in a gas station, yeah that's what I said, in a gas station on Old Saida Road, between the Mar Maroun Church and the the Beirut Mall. They have saltine crackers and Crystal Light! They carry other dietish items too. I actually got my multi Vitamins at the gas station!
