Yes I was sleeved in the Middle East and doing really well but have been given no food plan to follow so I rely more on what is said here. I think you are doing really well so keep going.

Yes I am three and a half weeks out and stalled too. Am doing everything I should. Feeling great and exercising every day but no movement on those scales. I do am hoping it will move again soon

Hi everyone. Just loved reading this thread. I am Australian living in Jeddah and was sleeved two weeks ago today here in Jeddah. I am feeling fantastic and have not had a problem. I have lost 7kg and a total of 29cm off my body so far and am very happy. Still in liquids for another two weeks and will be glad to go onto the next stage. The doctor here in Jeddah is doing about 6 sleeves a day is my understanding. So inshallah all keeps going well.

Hi. I am 13 days out and have lost 16lbs. I am 52 and am very happy that it is just going down. Don't care how long it takes as long as it s heading down, weight that is. Keep positive and keep smiling

Hi, I was sleeved December 8th and have been sleeping on my side and even my stomach since I got home on Tuesday. It makes a difference being in your own bed. I was scared at first to turn over on my side so did it slowly and no problems. Sleeping like a baby. So very happy how things are going. Have not felt sick once, sleeping well. All meds are going down as normal. Have even eaten out twice, each time I have ordered the soup as I am only on liquids and have eaten about a quarter of a bowl before being full. Keep going you will be fine.

Yes walk. Get moving and you'll be fine. Four days out and the nurses laugh at me because I am always on the move

Ok I am only four days out and just had a small bowl of soup and some jelly. It took me a while to eat it but I did and I am fine. Things are so different here. Not the same restrictions. No pre-op,in hospital for 4 nights and being looked after really well. So far so good

Thanks for the support. A. Feeling a bit like a pin cushion at the moment. Still on my drip but think that will stop today. Am feeling great just wondering how I am going to get all this water down. Looking or ward to posting updated photos too. Sp excited

I too am a shortie and was sleeved 2 days ago. I am feeling really good tired the first two days but was up and walking around the afternoon of my surgery. I walk around the hospital each day and am feeling goof for it. Things are a lot different here. I have to stay in for 4 days and am really being looked after very well. Am still on a drip so my fluids are great and today I have had soup, jelly and juice as well as camomile tea. Only little bits but going down well. Very excited. Thanks or your inspiration. You look amazing.

Thanks for your support. At this stage I don't have a trip back home until the end of June so hopefully there will be a noticeable difference by then and I will be feeling great. Am off to Paris mid February and am hoping I will be ok then. Two days to go . So excited as I said. Will keep you posted

Thank you soooo much for the information. Things are a little different here. Very hard to get vitamins but I was jut in Dubai and picked up some there. I will be in hospital for four days, think this is a good thing from what I have read. Most of my information has come from the different threads. Everything over here is in Arabic so cannot read it. My doctor is great but have only seen him twice. Please keep me posted on your different steps. I am hoping in the hospital they will tell me more about what and where to get what I need. It's strange doing this in such a foreign country but t least I can surprise everyone when I return. Thanks again

I am from Australia but living in Saudi Arabia. I am being sleeved on Saturday, weekend here is Thursday and Friday, hence the Saturday. Not much support or information here. No pre op diet so would really appreciate any help or advice you can offer. No optifast over here so it another protein shake drink and have started on that. So scared and excited.

Wish I could cool down. Being sleeved in Saudi Arabia this Saturday. . The weather here is always hot so hoping it will help me

I live in Saudi Arabia and don't see my doctor again until the week before my op. things are done differently here and I am interested in why and what you have been told to do pre op. all suggestions welcome.
