Hello and good morning everyone!! Ok, so as you can tell from the title, i am beyond annoyed and frustrated... Did not find a leak, had some tests done and an ultra sound and yup my stomach is in great condition. Even my doctor is frustrated, why do i throw up everything i eat? I need answers. No matter what i eat, when i eat, how little i eat i find myself running to the bathroom to throw up! It is embarrassing and annoying, my husband is just as frustrated as i am. I went back to liquids for 5 days, then upped to soft food and yes i was still throwing up. Even sometimes during the repeated liquid stage i threw up the liquid. I am hoping someone can give me an advise that can stop this, my face is yellow and i am malnourished.... i take Vitamins now but it doesn't sit in my stomach... i eat 2 oz sometimes thinking that the less the better but it also doesn't stay in my stomach, now i am am barely eating. I dont look healthy anymore Sorry for this nasty topic but i feel like am drowning in an ocean and i need your help! -

cmaloney, It really warms my heart to see that someone cares, i am back to give an update about my condition. I was sent for two days to the hospital for IV an extra exams... and my doctor was surprised to see that nothing is wrong and the last thing he could thing about was stress!! He said that i was stressing over things too much and that since am always afraid to eat, every time i sit to eat my stomach muscles contract and doesn't allow much food in. (which is true i have always thought that eating will stop me from losing the weight and sometimes i felt guilty after a bite which led to throwing up) Sometimes answers are very simple but we think of the worst possibilities in the beginning. Now that am taking anxiety medications and only thinking happy thoughts for the past three days, i have only threw up once or twice but overall i feel better, i am drinking more water and to be honest am staying away from solids but thick liquids are staying in and i feel better overall! I am going to start solids again in a week or so. Thank you all for ur concerns i really appreciate it. You are the only people who understand what i am going through. Everyone thinks i am being a baby... but i am not! even though the answer is simple but i couldn't control what happened and still cant, i am on medications and everyone is treating me like am making myself throw up. Wish everyone around me understood, wish everyone knew about my surgery! -

These are other symptoms too!!! It been so scary! Thank you everyone for your replies, you all opened my eyes on things i never noticed before. I wish i was back home in america am currently living overseas and i wont go back to america till two months from now... I have no insurance here and that is why i avoid going to the ER i would have to ask this and that for money! My doctor did give me some medicines that i do take and i try to keep them down as long as possible, my doctor scheduled me for an endoscopy tomorrow, but for some reason i feel better today, the only thing i noticed was that my urine is concentrated along with my face looking yellow and sick, called my doctor and he said drink more water and said that after the endoscopy tomorrow he will know exactly what is wrong and go from there... HE also mentioned giving me an IV which i refused to put because of how painful the needle was last time i had it (i bruised for weeks i hate hospitalisation here, they have people PRACTICE ON YOU!!!)) i am back to only water and juice today... hope that dehydration goes away. Thank you all for your concerns it makes me happy to know that there is someone out there who cares. <3 love you all wish me good health and same to you XOXO -

Thank you for your reply, i did go to the doctor to address the issue as i mentioned and he did all the tests and nothing showed up wrong, i thought maybe someone went through this before at two months out. I did try eating slow taking one bite and coming back for the second every 5 min but after the first bite i am ok and if i take the second bite before one hour apart i end up throwing up. I tried everything i swear and now i just gave up. -
Nov. 7th sleevers... Help keep me on track, PLZ!
SweetSaso posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know that there are a lot of nov 2012 forums but i wanted nov 7th to be specific... i want to know how you are doing two months post op. as for me I am Always telling myself: But it feels like everyday is an easier day for me and this is not what i want, i still have the restriction when it comes to my stomach but the thing is that i am making bad food choices. Since i live in the middle east, i do eat bread, Pasta and rice only in small quantities but i feel so guilty after i do so. I eat a lot of yogurt and meats too but the thing i feel that rests best in my stomach and doesn't make me nauseous is spreading some cheese on a small peace of pita bread and eating it with half a cucumber! Again with carbs. The days i dont eat carbs and try to only eat Proteins i throw up every bite i have...actually, i do throw up a lot. No, i dont over eat but my problem can be eating somewhat fast. My doctor doesn't mind the carbs, he says as long as it is helping me eat and keep the proteins its ok to have carbs (sometimes i eat about 80 grams of carbs a day). i am devastated! I am two months post op and i have lost 43 pounds so far, which is great right? well, i dont think it is enough. I started at 230 lbs day of op And now am 187.3 (weighed in yesterday) Tomorrow i will go back to liquids for at least 3 days, just Water, tea and juice) maybe i can cut out the carbs after that and eat proteins only. I just need encouragement and maybe if i see where everyone is two months post op, i can get some relief. Sorry for the long post but i needed to vent since only my fam know about the op and they are currently in america. My husband also knows of the surgery but he is also depressed for me he keeps saying that he misses having me eat and not feel tired and ill after. (i dont blame him) so now i try not to pull him into my worries he has enough to worry about. -

So glad to know am not alone in needing carbs for weight loss... i already started this morning from scratch am back to the liquid diet for 3 days because i was told that it will help me not crave more carbs and give me more restriction. 40 POUNDS is great, when i hear someone saying they lost 40 pounds in two month i think :"OH how great and how lucky" i give people credit that i forget to give to myself. thank you for making me realize that. Good luck on your journey and keep me updated with your weight loss <3 -

Lmao i do!!! i am guilty of smoking the hooka one week after surgery... what can i say, i love it... i still smoke hooka once a day sometimes twice... they say that it makes losing weight slower and results in loose skin but no i dont see that i am losing weight consistently and my skin is normal well a little saggy but it is getting better with every stall... -

Typical rate of weight loss
SweetSaso replied to NurseGrace's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
hey hun good morning and congrats on your sleeve, My doctor told me that the first month there is a drastic weight loss and that is because we lose Water weight. As fallen angel had already mentioned, some lose 15 others lose 30 and some may lose even more, i lost 31 pounds the first time. But after my first month i went to my doctors appointment he said that i should lose 2.2 pounds a week 1kg that is 8 to 9 pounds a week and he advised me to stay close to that because at that rate my skin will be able to catch to my weight loss and tighten up faster. But sometimes i go through 1 week or so stalls so i dont lose anything that week and i might make it up the next week and he said that some months i might lose some one week and stall for the next three. Sorry for the long reply, all in all... you should be losing 8 pounds a month and that is healthy Good luck -

Oh wow i had no idea, glad you have told me... i will go check them out today. Thanks a lot <3 -
Ok As you can tell from my title, I am addicted to fruits nowadays!! I am eager for feedback. It is the only thing i can eat and not feel like throwing up after! this is what i have been having almost everyday for a month now: breakfast: 1 cup of mixed fruits (strawberry, kiwi, apple, avocado, pineapple) with some orange juice. Snack: i drink 1/2 cup cuties oranges juice. lunch: 4 oz cooked chicken breast with Ketchup snack: half a banana dinner: 2 cheese sticks Snack: i drink 1/2 cup cuties oranges juice. I dont feel nauseous after these foods but everything else make me throw up... So my question is am i going overboard with all the fruits? I lost 36 pounds so far but been at a stall for a week now and am afraid its because of what am eating, my doctor is ok with all this but am devastated and afraid that i will not lose any more weight

O.T.R thank you for your great input and even though am in lebanon and everything is limited here, i will start trying more veggies.. am just scared that my stomach wont tolerate greens yet.. i tried eating a bit of a cucumber once but it hurt a lot. And since i wrote this thread i tried to eat more meats and Proteins because Protein shakes are out of my equation since i tried a Protein shake once that a friend brought me from over seas and it tasted like milk!!! i threw up for two hours after (i hate milk). Also, as catherine has mentioned... what you have available for you in america, we are lacking here we dont have a lot of choices even the meats it seems as everything tastes the same for me and i get bored. I broke my stall today and am down a pound but i got depressed because a pound in ten days is not what i wanted... but i guess what broke my stall is eating more meats less fruits. Ill keep doing that and add some veggies to see how that works out. Ballermom, thank you for your reply... Eating a lot of meat gets boring i hope you get lucky finding the right Protein Drink since i cant find any here. And catherine... you are lucky that everyone knows about the surgery... mine is kept a secret between my husband, parents and i. So i cant ask anyone to bring me anything when they come or else they will know. Plus no one is coming anytime soon i hope i go.. akh i am hating it here -
