Hi I have some questions for people who have already been sleeved by Dr garcia and worked with alma at ready for change....you can shed some light......? So far it's been a great experience! 1.Do you get some kind of aftercare package or info or a packet from them? And at what point does this take place??? 2. How do you know how many days to do the preop diet for? Does Alma call you at some point to tell you? I emailed her all this and waiting to here back -which she has been great but thought I would put it out there on here.... 3. When did you hand the money order over and who to? Just curious......surgery on April 2, and since its already March 10th --it's right around the corner!!! Thanks!

They have supplement pills of this which they stink a little(what supplement doesn't) and thy go down much easier then the juice... I was taking then 2wice a day in morning after bfast and afternoon after lunch... Drink a lot of water and your body does not retain as much water hence the weightloss and my skin was amazing...!!!! Getting bak on them as I just have been just been lazy!!!

Hello everyone.... I know spending money prob depends on spending habits and if I will even feel up to shopping after surgery(hope so), but how much cash to bring?? Sounds like its not needed to convert so cash it is and small bills for tipping (1sand 5s) are mostly used.... But how much for each and who did YOU tip? Driver to and from airport? Shuttle driver? Taxi? On top of what they charge? Bellboy? Room service? Bueller? Am I forgetting someone? Did you tip the driver who offered a ride to shopping??how much?

Thank you everyone! I received the email from Alma on preop- looks like I'm having to do it 10 days prior per bmi... Anyone do it for 14? What is your average loss for preop!??Wanted to get a jump start and start changing some habits earlier. Surgery 4/2 so not so far away...

I'm so excited I found this forum! I had no idea to look under the "special interests" section, sounds so exotic....lol Anyway, anyone going to MX for surgery? I'm scheduled April 2, with DR Garcia ! I'm taking my wife for support!

Dr. Garcia Scheduled 4/2 Arriving 4/1 Departing 4/5 Pretty healthy besides weight! Knees and back hurt occasionally (But Diabetes does run in my family) Tried HCG diet eating 1400 calories with shakes and bars and food, exercising 3 times a week, that is doing injections and lost 110lbs in 8 months! Felt great and now i have gained about 50 lbs back and feel horrible. Mostly disappointed in myself! Just got lazy stopped exercising! Finally decided on sleeve surgery as I was pretty disciplined on the diet! I know I can do this and thing the sleeve will be an excellent tool! Curious if anyone else will be there during this time???? Current weight 245 Height 5'1" Age 35 Working on getting passport, purchased premier protein shakes at Costco, and getting other essentials needed for trip together as well items post surgery! So excited!

I know it so crazy!! Everything is turned in to coordinator forms, flight info, 500 deposit... Next I will hope to hear from Alma at ready for change on how many days I need to do my liquid diet for/ what is next... Excited and nervous all at the same time! Started a list already... I wonder if it will go fast waiting for the day of surgery or SLOWWWW cuz I'm anxious....oh boy this better go fast! Starting a list of what I need etc...

I know when I asked about doing it post op he said not to do it Because you don't want to mess with your liver at all... My concer of doing the one I did post op is that with mine you eat and drink around 1200-1300 calories a day with shakes bars and meals....which post sleeve it sounds like you will only be able to get in 5-700? I would speak to your doc first for sure!

I guess I really haven't thought about it post sleeve! Ill tell you though that diet worked and it came of Fast! Faster then the sleeve even will! Ill have to talk with my dr about it or do some research because you eat the same diet!!? Good question! Def need to make sure with the do first so you don't hurt yourself or sleeve!!

I'm only telling my wife lol and my parents! I feel you should tell who you want or not! Others will ask why I'm eating the way I am --in the beginning--I'm stating I am having gall bladder issues and having it taken out and that I'm on a strict diet.. That is if asked... If not I'm not offering up anything.... When weight starts noticeably fall off, just saying I have to completely change diet and exercising... Period.. Lost 100lbs 2 years ago and got accused and ridiculed by family members that I cheated on a fad diet or I had surgery... No credit for how I really did it on my own... So people believe what they want and need to get a life... Meanwhile ill be working it out with my sleeve and getting healthy for my life, because hey, any way or time you lose a ton if weight it is NOT easy! Not when you always have been the big girl!!!!

I researched since Sept. I am scheduled with Dr Garcia on 4/2! Alma rocks it ! She is 5 billion times better then the US coordinator I had!!!!!

Going to Tj dr Garcia staying at Marriott....spouse wanting to know ideas for food and meals while we are down there for her... Heard bad stuff about meals at Marriott ? Any suggestions on what your support person did would be great thank you!!

I don't think you need a passport either but to pacify the worry wart in laws I got mine renewed.... I am excited that there will be a bunch if people going at the same time! We probably will pass each other in the hallways doing our anti nausea and gas walks haha... No I am not going alone, I'm bringing my fiancé as a support buddy! You?
