    Lighten up a little...

Sorry mate - I try to avoid getting wrapped up in these types of threads. I just didn't see the need to post that type of paper here All I know is everyone here has the best intentions at heart. Everyone wants the best for everyone else. The good messages just seems to get lost in everyone trying to divert others away from doing anything their own way. Again, sorry if I jumped on you. All the best, Deano
  7. Hello! ibv2 - great loss. It took a while for my energy levels to even out. Now they're pretty consistent and by the time it's bed time I'm tired! Pre op i'd be up for hours after a massive dinner with lots of wine! I miss wine Deano

Mason, you obviously have a lot of experience as an educator. I'm a detective and work as a police negotiator. Amongst other things, this at times involves suicide interventions and barricaded sieges with people who often have mental health issues, including depression and PD's . If what you're alleging is true (that your target audience, this forum, have a 'significantly higher' incidence of PD's, depression and mental health issues) then posting that article here can only be described as reckless.

I think everyone has a different view of what 'normal' will be for them at goal. For some, camp A, they see 'normal' poeple / friends who give into cravings, maybe fairly frequently, having them in small abouts and stay at a health weight. For others, camp B, they might want what they percieve as a heathier diet. They see 'normal' people / friends stick to, with a very occasional treat, and are hoping that the sleeve will be a tool to live that lifestyle. I don't think generally people are talking about complete abstinence from 'treats' for good. I don't see why either 'camp' has to think it's their way or the highway. There are lots of 'right ways' to lose weight and keep it off. I'm sure there are some VSG veterans who execise regularly and those that never do. I'm sure they're all happy with how they're doing it. Cheers, Deano

    Hummus

I know where you're coming from. A bit of spicy grillled chicken thigh fillet, some hommus or some babaganoush and a little bit of crunchy salad - would you believe, I even like it better than ...................CHEESEBURGERS! Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

    Hummus

Hummos is a go to food for me now. I didn't have it until after 4 weeks tho. Now I have it almost everyday. My wife has started making one with roasted beetroot through it as well. And smokey babaganoush ooh yeah
