Not just food. CHEESE Laura. I was thinking about cheeeese.

take a leak Inf. to urinate. (Crude. Use caution with the topic. Usually in reference to a male.) I gotta go take a leak. Back in a minute. He just went out to take a leak. You totally have a leak.
-
Now I can't stop thinking about cheese. Did you say something?
-
Ah, I remember the good 'ol days when I could inhale a pizza ...........
-
As if a piece of pizza is a bad choice. You should be cutting yourself some slack and enjoying it
-
Lol. Pizza. You're going to get a leak and die!

If you suffer from anxiety...
*Dean* replied to newme31's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think it's only the meds that thin your blood that are a problem before surgery. The lead up to surgery is a pretty anxious time for everyone. Make sure you do heaps of the stuff that you know helps for you (except eating heaps ) Exercise lots, talk lots. Breath. This is a great thing you're doing. Good luck, Deano -
Mmmmm cheese kransky

Thanks mate. Had a look at that, and it's checked. I guess having two tickers isn't the end of the world! Deano -
Well, do blondes have more fun? (Sorry for the thread hijack. Just noticed the new photo)

As everyone else has said - I think it's VERY normal. I think the vast majority of us regulated our emotions with food. Until I had a VSG I didn't think I was an emotional eater, but I was. Being confronted by feelings and not being able to eat and make them go away is, well, confronting! Make sure you're talking to family and friends more, get out and get some fresh air, exercise. Set up an arsenal of things 'regular' people do when they get depressed, stressed or anxious. Congrats on the loss so far, Deano

How long did your dry mouth last
*Dean* replied to canuckpaisa's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 13 weeks post op. I get dry mouth fairly regularly and it's generally when the scales are moving. My belief is that my dry mouth is from being in a state of ketosis. Keep sipping! Cheers, Deano http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketosis -

Hmm. Thanks. Not mine. I created the BMI one first I think. I deleted both and started again and just selected "Body Weight". I'm sure I'm doing something stooopid! -
needing some inspiration..or a kick in the butt
*Dean* replied to skinnywithin's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You've gone from a BMI of 42 to a BMI of 33 - You are nailing it! I'm assuming that you must be um, shorter, for an amazing fall in BMI like that for 39 pounds. It's all relative. When you started this you were 'Very Severely Obese' (sorry, you were so was I ) with a BMI of 42. You've powered through 'Morbid Obesity' BMI 35 to 40 You're currently 'Obese' BMI 30 to 35 (me too!) You are on the precipice of falling into the 'Overweight' category - BMI 25 to 30 and you've almost lost half of the weight you want to lose! You're obviously doing something incredibly right. Keep doing what you're doing and you will achieve your goal. Deano -

I've always said there are no stupid questions only stupid people (okay, maybe this is a stupid question) How do you 'merge' your tickers, so you have weight & BMI on one?? -
If everything goes to plan that time line should be fine. The sooner you get moving the better. Just no lifting for 6 weeks. Deano

How much weight u lost?
*Dean* replied to miiszsexy171's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Congrats on getting to goal. Thats amazing. -
You'll be right Beth. The calories / amount off food drops through the floor when you start eating 'real' food. 40lbs in 3 weeks - nice work!!
