I think it depends on the underwriter or your employees limits. I have UHC and in my plan, it took two days to get approved

I had surgery dec 27 th and I have been stuck for 3 weeks now. I am worried this is all I am going to loose
-
I ate a piece of king cake today too. Regular serving.

I am six weeks post op and I haven't lost any weight in two weeks! Is this all I am going to loose? Am I eating too much?
-
Glad your cleared! Two weeks left! I am excited for you

I have mitral regurgitation also with heart palpitations and hypertension. Since my cardiologist already has run alot of tests, he just looked over my medical file, ran a EKG, and asked questions, then cleared me. I will tel u that I should have made a follow up appt to regulate my meds because I started getting very light headed after loosing about 40 lbs. and it takes forever to get into my cardiologist. I have to wait till feb 16th

Has anyone had any issues with foods yet?

I lost about 18lbs pre-op. I was only on a two week diet, but was able to supplement the first week with one real meal. I swear by Premier Protein. They are comparable nutritionally to Bariatric Advantage, but taste sooo much better. My surgeons office required that I purchase a huge bag of it, and about $200 worth of bariatric advantage Vitamins which I cannot stand either
-
I could not stomach the Bariatric Advantage either! It's simply not edible! I switched to four shakes a day of Premier Protein pre-made shakes a day for my two week pre-op diet. I still drink one a day now for Breakfast. They are the bomb digitty! I buy them at SAMs club for approx $1 a shake

I think my surgeon expected me to loose 60% of my excess weight, which would be 190. I am 5'7" and weighed 293. I am shooting for 180 myself. I don't think your goal is unattainable

Will be praying for you! You will do great

Congrats! It will all be worth it

I am three weeks out also, and I am doing good getting everything I need, but I am starving all the time. I am sure some of its mental, but if I don't eat every three hours, I start throthing and it drives me crazy. I am already eating solids, just not meat. I am afraid I am taking in too many calories

Your going to do great!

The 5th of January???

I use the microwave

I am on full liquids right now, so I still drink with my "meal", but I am not sure how I am going to handle it either, when I get to eat actual food. I have this phobia about things in my throat and take a sip after almost every bite! My Nut told me that i have to make sure I measure my food before I plate it, if I cannot abide by the guideline. I am going to try very hard to change my behavior and stick to protocol

I bought Unjury unflavored but haven't tried it. I also bought unjury chicken Soup and love it. The only issue is that you cannot make it too hot because it will turn into slop and the texture is horrible. I am still getting the majority of my Protein through premiere protein pre made shakes. Each one has 30 grams and they are delicious.

I started on the morning of surgery. Luckily my surgeon doesn't use catheters. But they would not let me use a tampon. They put a chucks under me and a huge pad. I got to put a tampon in as soon as I got to my hospital room. I was mortified
how much is everyone eating 6 months out?

I feel you. I bought a scale and have yet to use it. I think I am over eating also, we'll I know I am! I eat till I am full and just wait the hour to be able to finish my plate. Or I eat six or seven times a day. I have been starving! I increased my ameprazole to twice a day and that seems to help some. I am 8 weeks out right now
