you look great...I know what you mean about not seeing it...my hubs constantly points out changes that he sees in me.

low grade temps after surgery are usually related to being dehydrated and/or needing to cough/deep breath. I would push the surgeon for an appointment.

Why the sleeve and not bypass?
doreen70 replied to odetteNYC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I chose the sleeve because I was afraid of the malabsorption issues. That, and I know a girl that had RNY and lost a ton-but she is always sick and has had 5 surgeries to repair a fistula. -

Eat or drink protein?
doreen70 replied to Takingcontrol's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My nutritionist ad surgeon disagree on this as well. My doctor wants us off liquid protein by six months. The dietician wants us at six months to start tapering off and be completely off at one year. -

Shout out to womans hospital
doreen70 replied to shelly311's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Awesome! My only complaint was my nurses once on the floor. As a nurse, my pet peeve is waiting an hour after hitting the call light for assistance. Everyone else rocked. -
At 5 weeks I was ravenous, all of a sudden. Even after a meal. Had been taking Prevacid daily since surgery. Changed to nexium twice a day, and had immediate relief.
