I feel like I am a slow loser!

I agree! the scale stopped moving for me and i'm 7weeks out, i lost fast the first 3 weeks and its the same weight for me now. But all my clothes are loose, i get teased at work I need to get new ones. I bought my first size Large top, and I used to wear 2xl. I can fit 14/16 and i used to wear 20 pants. So I guess, the weighing scale doesn't really tell the whole story. Although it would be nice to see it go down, ill take non scale victories too!

    One month out today!

From the album: One month out!

Surgery date: Jan 16, 2013 Weight is 200 Pre-op 190 CW: 175 Not so much weight loss, but losing inches everywhere and sizes are dropping down. Goal: need to hydrate and reach 64 oz, still struggling most times to drink. But great news, no more foot, back and knee pain thankful for being pain free, and loving my sleeve.

    low BMI/slow loser?

Hi Susie! Now, you made me smile because when you put things into that perspective, it is so refreshing . I had surgery Jan 16th and I started with 200 lbs (BMI 39), and now I am 174 (BMI 34), so I guess it's all good. I am so happy for everyone else whose weights are falling, and can't help but wish my scale would do the same. But nevertheless, this is the most weight I have lost, so I am very grateful for my sleeve. Just need to stick with the program and drink > 64 oz (still not quite there).

    Slow Loser here +---+

Thank you everyone for your encouragement and kind words. Most of the time I stay positive, but there are times when it gets hard and its refreshing to hear from other people, and know that I am not alone in this journey. I also didn't tell anyone except my husband, so basically this is my support group... So thanks for keeping me in line and helping me remember --it's all good. Everyday is a work in progress, balancing liquids, food and activities, i just have to stay positive. Good luck to us all!

    Slow Loser here +---+

I was sleeved 1/16/13 and the scale stopped moving -25lbs. I think that I'll be on the slow loser bench also. Thankful for the weight loss, following the program, but cant help but wonder what I'm doing wrong?
  15. This is my first night out since surgery five weeks ago. scale stopped at 25 lbs- but excited I can fit into my black dress. Before surgery I wore this as a top! Now I can wear it as a dress loving my sleeve!
  16. Never had issues with smell and body odor..but what the heck, i can't stand my smell. All of a sudden I have body odor, smelly armpits, bad breath & weird taste in mouth. And it won't go away. Tried different brands mouthwash, deodorant, frequent showers and it's embarrassing! Anyone else having this issue?

    Embarassing...smelly body odor?

Oh my goodness! Nice to know that I am not alone on this experience. Guess ketosis is a good thing if it means I'm losing weight... Just have to endure the smell, brush teeth & shower more and maybe try a different deodorant Will also ask Nut if any of the vitamins will cause these, just to be sure. Thanks for all the info & replies!
