Congratulations!! I am 4 days post-op and i'm feeling pretty much the same as you. I did have a shower today and it felt good. I know i'm not getting all my fluids but I will just have to try harder. They repaired a hiatal hernia and that will makr it more difficult in the beginning. Here's to both of us having a speedy recovery.

My day has arrived everyone!! I have to be at hospital at 8:30am. Keep me and all the other sleepers going in today in your prayers.

Congratulations!!! My surgery is in the morning too. I'll be praying for both of us.

My doctor told me if I do exactly what they say on what to do and what not to do then everything should be ok. My surgery is in the morning. I will do exactly as I'm told. lol I will pray that you can find some peace to not worry so much.

This was a question I have been wondering about. I was wondering how much and how often I could drink crystal lite or protein drinks. My surgery is Wednesday, Dec 5th. Trying not to worry, just ready for it to be over and start the new me. I will post my progress.

That you both so much. I try to focus on the end results and not worry about leaks and nausea. But its hard not to do sometimes. I will do exactly what they tell me to do but I know I will have trouble getting enough fluids. I am excited and nervous. I will keep you posted. Pam

From all the post that I have read, it sound like your doing good. I hope I do as well as you have. How was the first few weeks after surgery. I don't have Celiac disease but I have a gluten intolerance. I have to be very careful so not to get in that way to just like you. My surgery is Dec 5 and I am very nervous. Some of the stories are scarey. I don't like to be nauseous or throw up.So I will try very hard to only drink what and as much as I should. If you have any tips, they would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. But most importantly you need to continue to take care of your self. You have to stay healthy no matter what happens. The lord never give us more than we can handle even though it doesn't seem that way. I will pray for you.
