Stomach flu - in agony

Oh dear ... Stomach flu's are the worst arent they?! And in my experience so much worse post-surgery! Feeling your pain - I've had my having a 2yr old bringing them back home from daycare! There isnt much you can do except just wait for it to pass and try get as much fluid in as you can - I lived on popsicles for a week during my last tummy bug! There's a plus side & light at end of tunnel though ... embrace the weight loss at the end of it- and the smaller tummy shrinking pretty much right back post-surgery, hope you are feeling better asap xx
2. Awesome effort! Can tell you've been working hard in the gym without reading your description! Looking good

Sleeve weight loss times?

I will be just under 18 months out for my wedding in April but have not lost anymore weight since 1 year out as I was at goal. Depending on excess weight I would give it 1 year at the very least Congrats!
5. Thank you There's not much you can do to avoid it completely but lots of strength training, weights, lots of running and just exercise in general has helped me firm up. Age and elastic skin is also on my side

Gastric sleeve in NZ?

I'm over a year out and down 50kgs and at goal (normal BMI) - I'm going to eat whatever I want (within reason) over the festive season but make sure I do some form of exercise every day to make up for it. I'm thinking of doing the 5:2 diet round mid jan to help with maintenance and any regain over the silly season!

Tall Women, Tell Me Your Story!

I'm 5"10 and started at 275lbs now 165lbs. I would love to be 150lbs! Over a year out - recent pic
8. I was 1 year out this month and made it my goal to do a half marathon and run the full 21km which I achieved over the weekend. Much easier when you are down 110lbs! Very proud of myself! Pic is with my guy friend (training buddy) with our finisher medals after the race I am definitely not a runner so if I can do it anyone can!

Did Any Of You Shrink?

I have grown an inch! Gone from 5"9 to 5"10!
10. Its A-mazing! Went all out on a designer one of a kind - photos promised
11. Thought I would check back in and share a wee bit about my sleeved life as I will be 1 year post op tomorrow! Started my journey 275lbs and now 165lbs - at 5"9 this was my personal goal. I have stalled or maintained this weight for about 2 months now whilst lowering my body fat %. Two exciting things within this year 1) I got engaged! 2) I am doing my first half marathon in 3 weeks! I eat pretty much whatever I like these days - I do have to be careful as bad habits are re-forming. I have to have chocolate every day! One thing I can attribute my success to definitely is my activity levels running and strength training. Here is a pic of my trying on my first pair of short shorts ever in my life! I didnt buy them because I still dont think I can pull them off! I'm a mummy! Nice to do up that zip though. Size US 6
