Internal stitch peaking out!
mrdr replied to Alicia0022's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Same thing here. Mine feel off after a week or so. -
I did not experience the gas but i did and still do with the reflix...Horrible! The gas will need to dissapate and i dont think there is much you can do at first. The acid is something i hate so i have to take DAILY prevacid or a pill like that for at least 4 to 5 months. Another thing with acid is it can fool you into feeling hungry even though you may not be. Im at week 8 and its got better as the weeks progress. Good Luck

Same issue for me.....I have to learn to eat slower and from what my doc told me softer foods. -
Im unsure what your exact situation is but let me share. I had the same problem. I lost about 20 pounds up front and then it stalled. Until i found out that i dont use the bathrooom nearly enough. So i started to take a stool softener. I went from 251 to 247 during one movement. (sorry for the tmi) So that might be something to think about if you arent regular as well as working out. Im sure it will get better. Keep your head up!

Hello, I wanted to tell everyone out there that the post that you guys write have been inspirational. I had my sleeve done 2 days ago. I feel great. I have no complications or problems. I had it hear in Tijuana Mexico. The people here have been so helpful and friendly. The hotel that i am staying at is beautiful. Right now this choice i chose to make is a good one. I will do consistent updates. I will be going home very soon. I fell good right now. Thanks to everyone for the posts of their journeys.

I am currently in Mexico and i was just sleeved by Dr. Garcia. The facility is great and so is the hotel that they put you in. Dr. Garcia was really hands on with his trusty ipad giving me a visual display of how and what he was going to do during the surgery. I will be going home in a day or so. Im feeling great and no complications so far.......fingers crossed! You will be fine. I was the only surgery for Dr. Garcia on the day that i came so it made me feel more comfortable that i was the only one for the day. Hope this helps......Message me if i can answer any questions for you. Good Luck

Looking To Do The Sleeve In Mexico
mrdr replied to mjcrawfo's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I feel better about my choice to go now. I will have my sleeve done in one week. I had a friend who went a couple of years ago and she looks amazing now....and no complications. She went with Dr. Almanza at Jersuelum Hospital. I chose Dr. Garcia. I to am uninsured and i paid out of pocket. If i didnt have a friend who went threw it already and lived to tell me i proably wouldnt do it!.....I wish you sucess on your travel and surgery,,,
