I know the OP already had surgery as long as she had it in Feb like she stated above but for the other poster and anyone else.. I had surgery at Walter Reed in December 2012. I loved my surgeon she was great

What do y'all do for exercise and how often?

Weighed myself this morning and I'm 199...yay!!! I haven't seen that on the scale in 6 years. I absolutely love my sleeve!!!

I was sleeved on 12/12/12 and so far I no longer have to take my bp meds and I had to go buy a pair of new pants because my jeans were falling off me. I bought a pair 3 sizes smaller!!!

I'm down a total of 33lbs!!! Only 2lbs away from the 100's I LOVE my sleeve!!

Sleeved Dec 12th weighed 220 morning of surgery. I am down to 207 today:)

I am 4 days post-op. I take my pain meds right on schedule!! I don't want to be in pain..lol. My biggest incision is like someone else said kind if sinks in and above it sticks out. I do have a drain on the same side as well. The big incision is the only one that hurts too. If it wasn't for that I'd probably rarely need my pain meds. Doing good on liquids. Haven't really ventured out to a bunch of choices they have on the full liquid diet just making sure I stay hydrated like my doc said. I go back on Tuesday to have the drain removed:) Oh and my stomach itches as well. I don't know if the glue is causing it or what. I've had glue on me before when I had my gallbladder removed. I remember my stomach itching then too but I know itching also means it's healing as well.

Hi everyone I'm new here. Started my pre-op journey in March and finally got my surgery date. I start my pre-op liquid diet on Nov 28th. I'm a little nervous but at the same time excited & anxious all rolled together.

I know how you're feeling..I have surgery in 10 days and the past few nights all I think about is am I doing the right thing ? What if I'm sick all the time afterwards? During the day though I'm fine and ready for it.

How many of us are starting our liquid diet tomorrow(Wed 28th)? I will be on a 2 week 800 calorie liquid diet.

I start my 2 week liquid diet this Wednesday!!! I'm excited and a little nervous. Surgery date is coming up fast....

My program has me do 800 calories liquids only for 2 weeks.

That's great!! Dec 12th is a very popular date lol. What kind of pre-op diet do you have to do?

Only people in my family who know are my husband And my mom. They are very supportive!! I will not be telling anyone else about my surgery.
