Hi Evilah, The liquid diet is going ok for the most part. I have been mostly drinking Costco's Chocolate Weightloss shakes (a Slimfast type drink), drinkable yogurt (also from Costco), and tomato soup simply because they are easiest. Today I had a little apple sauce which was fine. I haven't had any issues with being really hungry but am ready to start exploring more food options. You must be rally excited that your surgery is almost here. I am excited for you. Just think how different life will be this time next year. :-)

I am in Woodinville and was banded on Thursday 5/10. So far all is well except for the gas pains in my left shoulder which come and go. I am so excited about the band and can't wait to see the results in the months to come.

Hey dialit and Dawn, I too am in WA State and had surgery at NWWLS on Thursday May 10th with doctor Michaelson. My abdomen is feeling fine but OOHHHHH THE SHOULER PAIN!!!! Either of you going to the support group at NWWLS? Suzi

Hi All, My name is Suzi and I was just banded on May 10th. I am a little achy but for the most part, I feel pretty good. The first 2 days were pretty uncomfortable and I needed the pain meds but now I am just taking ibuprofin and feel okay. I am really excited about my future weightloss and look forward to meeting fellow lap banders. Suzi

Yes GR8, NW Weight Loss Surgery is in Everett. I feel so fortunate to live so close to them as they are very well known for this surgery as it is all they do and people come from all over the country now to have LB surgery with them.

Thanks GR8. Ibuprofin for the first few days is actually a part of my recovery plan given to me by the clinic. I had my surgery done at NW Weightloss Surgery. So far I haven't had any stomach problems. I have been taking it after having drinkable yogurt and that seems to be working. I appreciate the feed back. Good luck with your first fill. Suzi
