Peoples reactions to weight loss surgery
danie0708 replied to michelle4873's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I decided to only tell my close family and a couple of co workers. As the weight has come off when someone comments one of my coworkers insists on telling them it's because I had WLS. Very frustrating. I have asked her several times to stop but it continues. So I say only tell those you know you can trust. -

Seem to be in a stall. Noticed my carbs a little high so I have cut back. Amazing how they snuck back into my diet. I was surprised to see so many carbs in my Protein bars i will be looking for a new one. WDS 317 CW 252 -
I completely understand. I just cut my bcl hair to shoulder length. It is shedding so bad I had no choice. It feels weird to have so little hair. I hope it stops soon so I can grow it back out.

My starting weight was 355 I lost 25 pounds during supervised weight loss. 20 pounds during pre op diet. I was sleeved in October and at four months I have lost a total of 56 pounds since surgery. To date I have Iost just over 100 pounds. I'm 5'6". -
Thanks for that information. I will have to give that a try.

Are you getting all your fluids?
-
Me too and I get conflicting info. My doctor says not to eat the calories back but the nutritionist says I should.
-
That is kind of my concern. I eat and then exercise, with the calories I burn I am only getting 200-300 calories.
-
Do you exercise? And are you eating the calories you burn? I'm having trouble with my scale too. And I eat 800-900 calories a day.

not dropping pounds like crazy...but dropping pants sizes!
danie0708 replied to alisha29's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Sleeved 10/05 I have lost 50 lbs since surgery. In the beginning it was dropping steadily at 4-5 pounds a week but the last couple of weeks I have stalled only loosing 1-2 pounds. I think I need to change up my exercise routine.
