My only regret
Dreamingofhealth replied to Losing weight's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I live in Canada, and the wait times for a consultation is 2 years plus... But I finally got a call for a consultation scheduled for April 11th 2013. If everything goes well, I could be sleeved within two months of that date or up to 6 months!! Fingers crossed its two months lol -
Theres no such things as stalls
Dreamingofhealth replied to allthatjazz4u's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think you are so right. (Although I am pre-sleeve) I think our bodies are going through a HUGE change, and with weight loss this rapid it's only normal/natural for it to slow down and adjust before rapidly losing again. I've noticed that people who are measuring themselves as well as weighing still notice a loss in inches-even if it's not reflected on the scale. Good luck to everyone! Stay positive and you'll get to your goal faster than you think. :-) :-) Sheena -
My only regret
Dreamingofhealth replied to Losing weight's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I can't wait to have that feeling! All I want is to STOP obsessing about food, and how big I am, and anything that revolves around those topics! I just want to give my poor brain a break from all the stressing and worrying about my weight. The relief will be amazing. I can only imagine how great it's going to feel to have extra energy! Congratulations!! :-) -

Protein shakes
Dreamingofhealth replied to toodabarn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks O.T.R, and Cheri! Great idea about getting sample packs! I had no idea you could do that! What a great way to try something without wasting a whole tub if its not your taste. Let the ordering begin hahaha. Thanks for the tips on what to mix it with. A lot of people tend to just mix it with milk (as I've been reading so far). I HATE milk but love cheese. Go figure I really like the tea and coconut milk idea.. Two of my current faves. I just really hope my tastes don't change too much and I won't like them post-op. Thanks guys! Sheena -
