After a failed Lap Band or Body I decided to persue a VSG, My lap band worlked well for 5 years went from 435 down to 300, then in early 2011 began to not be able to tolerate any fill. had 9 fills, unfills, 2 upper gi's , amd a EDI. No problens with the band However my insurance allowed a revision due to the "band not working as intended." Approved after on letter in two days. Surgery on March 13, 2013, took 3 hours due to hernia repair, lap band removal then the VSG procedure. I feel great. More latter
