I was so terrified before surgery up to the day all I could think about is I have never been put to sleep and am I going to wake up! Well let me tell you like some ppl told me prior to my surgery its goin to be over so fast its goin to be like you blink and its all over! Say a prayer and all will be okay! God Bless

I have always had a irregular period and right before surgery and the IUD I hadnt had a period for eight months! Was diagnosed with Diabetes and the medicine Metformin also given to women to regulate they period made me have a regular menstraul! Now after surgery it has come on time but lasted from the 12th until 31soooo I dnt know if I can blame the surgery or this damn IUD because the doc says it can take up to 3 months for my body to get use to the IUD Wth! Has anyone else had this issue with the IUD?

Hello Family sleeved 1/8 am doing good having a problem getting all my protein in not that I can't keep anything down just forget sometimes I can eat almost anything as long as I chew a million times!!! Ate some raw pepperoni's last night and it came right back up too greasy!!! Weighed 265 day of surgery down to 241 so far so good!!! Even though I can't see it everyone else has noticed!! LOL I'm happy with my decision just gets a lil frustrated with how little I can eat before I'm full but what the heck that was the purpose right!! So each day I can honestly say gets better!!!

Wow and I have been craving beef links lol but I'm only 15days out I got a looonnnggg way to go!!! I ate some uncooked pepperoni and it came right back out grease first yuck!!! Now I'm scared of pepperoni and I love pizza!!!

I had the same fears I was sleeved Jan 8th and let me just tell you it will be over in a snap!! You won't even remember falling asleep it will be over so fast!! I'm 4 days post op and my mouth have been filling up with spit constantly I'm spitting ugghh very irritated!! So I called the doctors office and the nurse told me to drink pickle juice!!! Worked like a Charm!!! I Love Nurses!!!! LOL

Yes please dont come on here a few days b4 surgery because thats the reason i was so dang on nervous when I went into surgery on the 8th! It was nothing like I thought it was going to be! Its the fear of the unknown that worries you! You will do fine Good Luck and God Bless!

Yes you are very lucky because I had surgery 4 days go and just now feeling better today because of nausea thanks to the morphine other than that just a litte sore!!!! Here's the thing I thought I was hungry as well but as soon as I drink water or gatorade I'm good!!! I thought I was hungry because my stomach keep making these noises!!! LOL Congrats though and welcome to the losers bench!!!

Hello I was sleeved on Tues YAY finally on the losers bench and am happy so far not much pain but the nausea is kicking my butt!!! Anywords of encouragement or stories how you got passed this would greatly help!!! Thanks
