Good day here too! Came in at 400 so far, so if the urge should hit I'm golden. Oh and I went for a 10 mile mountian bike ride today (no falling this time) I hope GT will check in soon..

I think it might not be too unreasonable... For instance tonight for dinner I had 3 oz of roasted chicken and almost an half cup of kale salad (kale, brussel sprouts, cabbage, pumpkin seeds etc)

Lol I think it's an old wives tale about exploding stomachs... With that said, some doctors say they are ok. Some say no way, because of excess gas and there are one or two that think it will stretch you sleeve over time. Oh and I? I don't use them... Well, just because I never used them anyway unless it was a soda bought at a fast food place -

Lol I don't think burgers would be a slider for ANYONE! Fries?? I don't know but I doubt it.. If you don't like sweets or chips you are one step ahead of me! As for bypass.. At a support meeting I went to there was a new girl there she brought her husband and told the group that her doctor and husband wanted her to have the sleeve but she wanted the bypass because she wanted the ill effects when she ate junk food... Well that had the bypass ladies in the group cracking up. They told her you can eat around the bypass too. I told her you need to still do the work with bypass and the sleeve. She asked well what would work best to "make" you stop eating junk. I said getting your mouth wired shut permanently.. -

Well you have to think, are you going to follow the plan or are you going to find ways to "cheat" it... The surgery does work but you need to work too. Food and hunger, face it most of us didn't eat only out of true hunger. So if you don't gain some kind of control over your head hunger, it is possible to eat around the sleeve with "slider" (Junk) food. This gets easier to do as time goes on. So change needs to come in the form of your thinking and coping skills. We will have to keep up on these changes for the rest of our lives if we want to succeed. -

Yeah that doesn't sound right... If your having an adverse reaction to the antibiotic they should discontinue it! Have you tried to get ahold of the actual surgeon? -

I'm having my first fast day meal at 2:45 pm (Yogurt blueberries) lately I've been pushing my fast day meals a little later so I still have a bit to eat after 7... Yep imma rebel Coops, The weight thing is the same for me. It bounces all over the place! Any new number will tease me for weeks sometimes before I've stick it and moved on to the next low...

I have a question. And I'm NOT judging! When you drink water afterwards to flush it out how does it help? Forgive me, this is a serious question. -
Perhaps I should of clarified... This forum was created for veterans that want to discuss issues that are more prevalent later out (maintenance, weight regain, etc) Veterans spend a lot of time answering questions on the other forums too! So you are sure to get answers from vets there Oh and I just looked...you are still early out! I would avoid bread and rice products a bit longer they really are hard on new sleeves.
