I have to say I agree... I would NEVER go back to full liquids! Meat and veg can't go wrong with that
-
what did you eat during the Puree stage?

I never thought I would purée meat.. But I did and I loved it I did things like chicken and gravy or turkey meatloaf gravy and a bit of watery instant mashed potatoes. -
For most diet plans yes

I try to get my protein through food. you know I really don't eat Soup unless its a bowl of spicy seafood soup at my favorite Mexican restaurant which is once or twice a year... Chili is good! I make a turkey black bean chili that's warm and filling..

I have to keep my meals real protien dense to keep satisfied. Funny enough yogurt fills me though, that's why I'm mourning the hot weather. Eating ice cold yogurt when your ice cold? No bueno!

Revs, You'll be happy to now that further out you can drink a LOT more! I've had 6 cups of hot tea today, on top of my 2 cups of coffee this morning... I'm floating away as we speak Oh Georgia crustless quiche good idea! I've not had an egg in forever I'd forgotten about them. I just bought some ancient grains but I'm trying to ration them because the carbs don't stick with me long. If I have hot Cereal I get hungry soon after..

For me the more sugar I eat the more I want it.. So I really try and stay away...
-
I used to get this! My hands would start shaking and I felt like I was going to pass out if I didn't eat something quick! About a year before surgery I cut out all sugars (real and fake) because of food addiction issues but low and behold the weakness and shakes went away... Now of course right after surgery it's hard to avoid some fake sugar. But its a good thing to wean back off when you get further out. I. Know easier said than done

See I'm at a loss... This isn't my first winter, but truthfully last winter I was still healing. So much easier. I got really used to my routine over the summer and changes scare me (if its not broke don't fix it) Today is a fast day for me so I'll have to change up my extra cold yogurt for something that is warm and won't blow my calories for the day. It's more of the feeling of wanting to burrow and eat that I think I'm dealing with. Perhaps in the past I felt I could cover up and hide the extra food...

Do you find the cravings any stronger this time of year? It's like an instinctual thing to pack in the food for me...

What a transformation butter! This is so exciting to see you go through this process. Also this journey is so personal and I thank you for sharing!

I'm sorry but I'm just not 'wait 30 minutes to drink after eating' guy.

You may want to put the work into changing this now... You are still early out, but when you get further along flushing out your food will become an issue (as in weight gain when you are able to eat more and hunger returns) what starts out as a little will become more after awhile in my experience. the "rule" is there for a really good reason and although I don't follow every rule (I drink coffee in the mornings) I find following most of them sets you up for success long term. -
Two years out, happy, but not quite at goal with question
