Hey girlie.. I'm sitting here drinking my first cup of morning joe as I write this Funny I think three months was when I got over decaf too I now buy and mix my beans for a 1/2 caffeine 1/2 decaf blend It's the one rule I break. Granted I have a sleeve of steel and never really had issues with acid reflux or anything. Just remember to keep your water intake up if you're going to drink a bit of caffeine everyday. -

As corny as it sounds... I'm rooting for you. I'm rooting for you to get this surgery and to get yourself to a healthier and happier place.

Lol! Yes 39 is on the lower end! Or at least it used to be... I guess the times are a changing.

Lol I tried to step away but couldn't They turned out a mess too!! They didn't bind... So it's more like loose granola than bars don't know what I did wrong. My poor kid, his mom definitely can't cook! My husband always tells me if I want too, he'll pay for a cooking school...he's so nice....

Well if you look at the label it's not just strawberries it has sugar and high fructose corn syrup.. Not the best choice plus if you are early out fruit is not advised yet. Strawberries have tiny seeds that can get caught in the suture line as you are still healing. Your doctor? did he give you guidelines ? -
People don't really die from VSG right?
No game replied to Disabledaccount's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The fact of the matter is complications happen. sometimes those complications lead to death. This is a major surgery, not to be entered into lightly.. We have lost 3 members that I'm aware of, from this forum alone in the last year.. Does this mean you shouldn't get the surgery? No! For me the bigger risk was dying from weight related illnesses. I was already taking high blood pressure meds that were not controlling it the way the doctors would of liked. My doctor never had a death from doing the sleeve, but did this mean it wouldn't happen to me?? No.. There are no guarantees, this is life. You have to decide if this is right for you and that you understand the risks and are willing to take them (large or small) at a shot for a longer healthier life. Good Luck to you, Laura -
Hey thought I'd start a thread I've noticed a few of you today. I had my surgery last year but I see several people in process right now and one newly sleeved! Tell your stories Perhaps we can follow each others progress in this thread?
