That's funny because when I was making my husbands and sons plate just last night I thought for a second "My god Laura could you have put anymore on the plate"

If it was by me I'm sorry.. Because I know we had this discussion a little bit yesterday on my enabling thread. First off when you (we) are joking about food I don't feel like its food pushing?? I hope not. What I was taking about on the enabling thread is the culture of enabling through complacency.

It stuffed the **** outta me. But It was really a really good piece of bread.

I'm trying to figure out in what context you are speaking. There are two examples I'm thinking of right now. The dirty secrets thread or the joking around on the last thread to lighten the mood.

I don't know about the 3 to 6 years after.. But really at the end of the day after reading a lot of studies listening to personal stories here and differing opinions of bariatric doctors. It's crap shoot... Some people claim it was cured after the sleeve, some people that never had an issue with it have it suddenly have it after surgery and some end up getting it so bad they have to convert to bypass afterwards. I know this is no help! But it's something you need to be aware of and make the decision as to whether or not you want to take the risk. Good luck to you

I think the food porn was an attempt by some to alleviate some of the tension.. But if you wish for this thread to continue so the op can spout about the injustices she received as she was verbally attacking someone reaching out for help? Have at it..

Well something to consider, There is the huge amount of support that is available on this site.. The op herself came here and started a thread about her personal life and tragedies and how people in her personal life were tired of it and unsupportive.. I, along with a LOT of others took the time to write thoughtful responses and a continuing dialogue with her. At some point the op decided to start posting combative type posts. Not sure why? But a combative post will 9 times out of 10 get combative posts back. Oh! And good luck on starting back to work.

Oh...don't get me wrong I don't want you to leave. But this is a forum for the gastric sleeve. I'm not sure if you knew that. I just thought I'd put that out there because if I had a bypass I'd want to talk with other bypass patients
