Aawww I thought you found them in your cupboard !

Tofu is a soy product . It has good protein in it so lots if vegetarians eat it.. And it can be made into lots of things! I've not tried a tofu smoothie it sounds interesting! I have had ice cream made of it though years ago yummy
-
I buy them at Costco so they aren't to bad I have one for breakfast everyday, sometimes dinner too if nothing else sounds good ( like tonight)
-
I use the ready made premier protein shake.. I keep them at room temp because its cold here. I find they get the job done they fill me up pretty good.
-
Good job, you !!!
-
Your lucky hummus doesn't stand a chance around my house, everyone eats it !
-
Sorry 16 oz can
-
I'm further out than you! But I eat between 500 and 700 calories a day.. I eat my protein first about 2 to 3 oz then I throw some veggies in. I haven't had a lot of fruit yet. Oh and I still drink my protein shakes! What can I say I like them! I'm a slow loser no miracles here! Oh and they also don't tell you you won't feel the restriction with all the junk food too!! We all learn that the hard way!
-
I just read that you are a band to sleeve revision that might make things different? But I was told be careful fruits with small seeds, strawberries etc. perhaps try a banana in a homemade shake?
-
Way too much sugar!! It probably wouldn't sit well in your tummy

I would start with 2 oz or 1/4 cup And eat 3 meals 2 Snacks getting in 60 grams of Protein. When eating use a small spoon take small bites chew, chew, chew Of course the Protein shakes will be more than 1/4 cup.. -
Buy me some!!!
-
Hey that sounds good!! I love feta cheese
-
That is so different with each doctor! But with my plan I was told 1/4 cup at a time.. I would do mostly chicken with a little gravy puréed or chicken and a little bit of broth and a tiny bit of mashed potatoes .

Greedy is more like it!!

Oh I see how it is since OTR is not around. I'm good enough!! Girl I am not going to be your sloppy seconds! It's me or the man!
-
Where's OTR ?? Oh OTR !! She wants to show you something!! "Oh OTR did I do good" " OTR did I chew them enough" Love you!!
-
But it sound like she is on the purée stage, so 1/4 cup would be more appropriate ?
-

Ok how about . ..Hemped up Hummus 1 big can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed well 1/4 cup shelled hemp 2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp tahini (optional) handful of fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup of water 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp black pepper Add all ingredients to food processor. Pulse until well mixed, scraping down sides as needed. Slowly stream in water, 1/4 cup at a time. Only add water until you’ve reached the consistency wanted. (Less water=more chunky.) Taste and add in more salt, pepper and parsley and mix as needed. If you used dried beans, then just multiply according to how many cups of beans you use. I prefer dried beans and when I have extra time I use them! I love hummus!!!!
-
Could you not add unflavored protein powder? Just a thought....
-
For the record Aussie and I are further out and have been cleared...
-
Puréeing is a good thing to do. the reason why you were probably able to eat so much is because of the meal you had wasn't really dense protein.. You will want to work up to eating a more protein based meal. You will then feel. The restriction. And will only be able to eat about 1/4 cup Oh and you may not have full sensation back in your stomach yet... That's why it's very important to measure!
