See snap, all sorts of reasons... And I must also put out there I am happy maybe not every second of the day deliriously so, but happy And now I'm really walking away!!
-
Well it might because of shyness, trauma in the past. Or just not used to being not noticed, judged. As a woman you are judged everyday by your looks maybe more so when your smaller, Hell Maybe it's a girl thing... I don't know. Years ago I lived across the street from my office I would walk everyday across the crosswalk to work, on any given day I would have some man yell his comments. Sometimes it was a whistle sometimes it was mean, like once a man barked like a dog. After awhile I started driving to work. Sometimes it's just uncomfortable to have people judge/ comment even if its nice Sorry I took over this thread... Quietly walking away now

I know there is so much more to weight gains than just food addiction. I wonder sometimes if I've gained weight to "test" relationships that I have, Push people away...

Glad all is well -
I was talking about that today! The last time I lost weight. At a class I had, the speaker was really cute all the young girls loved him long story short he came and spoke to me after! I still don't know why, but anyways he asked me out. it was a no, I'm married. The thing is when I came home I binged like I never have before. I knew then I had a problem!

Isn't that weird!! I don't like it either and I don't know why? ( the people noticing and commenting part)

Help! I swallowed my gum!
No game replied to boatdays's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok I just did a search and the forum administrator Susan has said in the past that as long as you are not having trouble breathing and swallowing you should be ok. But call the doctor to check in about it. I just bumped the thread up to the top if you would like to see it.. -
It's pretty normal, I hate to say it but it happens to most of us. Take care it will go away.

Hello new grandmother! It's a new day today and I know we will do great! I walked right past those muffins! And you are on the right track, don't let one day make you think that your not Tomorrow is my sons birthday and I know I will be staring down a birthday cake. wish me luck! -
Paul, Now that you've mentioned it I am starting to really notice everyone profile pics...the faceless featureless blank blobs are starting to concern me a bit! I read a thread the other day asking how many texans did this for vanity.. Although I think most of us did this for health reasons. Body image does play a role in it for everyone! Who doesn't want to improve their appearance.. Being comfortable in your skin is an issue I think all of us have to work on at some point. Thinking back on it personally, I have been large and I have been small. I don't like being big and getting noticed for it. But I have also gotten uncomfortable being "noticed" when I'm smaller. Sometimes I think the fat suit is is good insulator. Being comfortable I'm our own skin, no matter what it looks like, is a good goal I think. Oh and as far as your nude pics go, I will look for them. Maybe I'll post my own, so you better watch out

Awwwww he's so cute you did the right thing by going tonight and I like that you are thinking of following up with several different kinds of doctors.. And what do you mean you don't have to many friends look at all these people here!!!

Nobody is mad at you!!

Thanks butter, I will try drinking before and see if that helps. And as far as the rest goes I get it . I know that I've stepped in it many times here! (today for example). I did see some of the stuff you had to deal with this week... It's got to be trying some times. I've gotten so confused about diet after reading all of it. I start to think maybe I should lighten up and eat those things.. But I also think it would be trouble if I did.

Good, take care, we will be here.

That's not that bad do you remember how much we used to eat! And your right about the sweets! If I "f**k up" it will be with those gigantic muffins my damn husband keeps buying from Costco, which by they way he never used to buy... 0_o -
It's the modern ER model to do it this way.... We are in California.

They triaged him first..it's Common practice. other wise he could have sat there for hours first

It's ok your surgeon probably would of told you to go anyway.. Don't worry about how they will perceive you. You have a right to be there.

If I had to fudge a couple of pounds I would drink a lot before, eat salty and slouch slightly when having my height taken. -
Ok deep breaths... and he will be there soon!

They suggested I gain a couple of pounds too, but they submitted the paper work with my original weight and I was accepted. And yes the insurance stated that you had to have 40 bmi or 35 two co morbid.
