It does have fat but a "good" fat and if you chart what you eat just work it into your daily calories And such.
-
It's called a stricture! It's being talked about a lot here if you do a search you will see it Good luck
-
Good luck my dear!! Don't be nervous... Deep cleansing breaths ...... And try to get some sleep tonight! Good luck, Laura

Hey that's what I was thinking!! I mean I don't eat a lot of it and sadly no chips anymore... But I put it on a turkey burger or chicken...or hell even a spoon

Hi! If you go to the " food and nutrition" part of this forum then go on the " Protein drinks and powders" there will be lots of advice!! As for me I drink ready made Premier Protein shakes you can buy them at costco or SAMs club Oh and start now you've waited so long you wouldn't want to mess it up now Good luck, Laura

I think that's called a "stricture" I would do a search on it here. a lot if people have had it Good luck, Laura [Edit] yes stricture.. There are several threads about it, just avoid the "I stretched my pouch" thread ( nothing good there) -
What have you guys got against cilantro? It tastes awesome in guacamole !!

Thinking and preparing ahead is always a good thing! Just remember it will be worth it ! After reading some of these posts of people that want this surgery and can't because of finances. I feel blessed that I was able to do it. Remember that in the tough times and you will do great
-
That does sound hard!! But you will be happy that you quit so early. You will have a lot on your plate (no pun intended) after surgery so that will be one MAJOR withdrawal you will not have to do at the same time. A lot of people smoke, drink, binge up until the last minute. I think the way your going you will have a smoother time

High-Protein foods: eggs (cooked with minimal fat) Light or low-fat yogurt Low-fat cottage cheese Soft fish (baked, broiled, grilled) Small or baby shrimp, scallops, crab Tuna fish (fat-free mayo is okay) Tender cooked or ground poultry Tender cooked or ground beef or pork Bean and lentil dishes and Soups Fat free refried Beans Low-fat luncheon meats (turkey, roast beef, sliced thin) ( I would also watch sodium on these) Shredded or soft low-fat cheeses Tofu (soy) Other foods: oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits (thinned) Soft fruits without skin or canned in natural juices
-
I can see it!! You look ( and I'm sure, feel) great
