You just had surgery.. Your stomach is still numb Please measure your food! You may not be able to "feel" anything yet but the restriction will come when you heal more! And Protein based foods will fill you up more than Soups and cream of wheat.

I like that you are going to talk to your DR. On Tuesday about how you feel. It's sometimes uncomfortable to do but having an honest conversation might get things worked out! I had a very uncomfortable conversation with my PCP before I had this surgery and told her that I was uncomfortable about something's and felt inferior in some respects. And was looking for a new Doctor..It was a great conversation and a turning point in my care! I have a much better relationship with her now! Sorry about being long winded
