.....still blushing....... And I'm sure when Fyre reads this he will be blushing like a school girl !! Gotta go! The news just said that IHOP is giving away free pancakes and also in San Francisco they are giving away free chocolate pudding to soothe us 49ers. Fans

Let me know how it goes! And like everyone else has said, you ultimately have to walk out of there feeling good about about what transpires in your doctors appointments. If she understands and improves awesome!! If not, you keep on walking and find someone that that is knowledgeable and can treat you with kindness and respect

Dehydration...not a fan!
No game replied to VSGKirk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I guess that's the hardest part for me. I feel sometimes like I'm devoting my whole day to the timing of fluids and meals... I hope that at some point it becomes second nature and not a full time job! -
Dehydration...not a fan!
No game replied to VSGKirk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I understand that one... I've been so good on my fluid intake, until the last week. I'm really disappointed because it smacks of my old pattern of being good the first month or so on a "diet" then getting complacent and slacking off. But this time we cannot do that can we? it can be dangerous and warrant a trip to the hospital! Good luck to you today as I sit here drinking water... -
My 10 month update have 30 more to go but i am greatful for the 97 i have lost :-)

Scale recommendations?
No game replied to sleever10's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hate scales!! Well I hate my scale anyway. Damn thing always sticks on the SAME NUMBER!! Good luck I know there has been some discussion recently about. Try searching scale and you might find it or if I find I'll let you know. There's one thread called, need a scale? Recommendations -
Likely the carbonation will make your tummy feel worse.... perhaps some warm tea? Sorry your not feeling well, Laura

How likely is it to gain weight after?
No game replied to Harpo's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I leave for a while and all hell breaks out! Come on really! the girl is a new member.. Is this what we want to show her. Her doctor may have preformed that many gastric surgeries. And his advice about the soda is good. Leave it alone. -
It's ok Leeann, I think it was someone that was not having a very good day that's all.

Preop newbie looking for a buddy in CT or New England!
No game replied to ladiieBee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Welcome newbie!! I think you are stuck with all of us old insomniacs tonight!! But I promise you there are young people around too! If you go to the main forum and look under "age specific" there is a forum for people in their twenties! ( they might be in bed though) -
I wish I could throw my scale out the window! But sadly I can't . I'm even worse I stand on that sucker and if I lost something I don't count it until I've been there a couple of days or go a pound lower 0_o Oh well what can I do...
-
Congratulations to you and the lucky man!! You are a beautiful bride! And 45 pounds is awesome in my book!!

from glad to scared back to glad
No game replied to rmkwk1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I felt a little scared going into it. actually a lot scared when they wheeled me into the operating room! I tried and succeeded so many times before losing weight only to then gain the weight back. It was time for something "radical". I feel blessed that I am able to do this! I know it sounds corny, but I read everyday about people here for whatever reason that are not able to have the surgery and I am sad for them and realize I was given a great gift, a great opportunity to change my life, for my family and me! Good luck to you! Laura -
