Well then maybe it's my own personal comfort zone. again nothing against PA's or "assistants" But I do not think that meeting with my surgeon detracted from his skill level and him keeping up on new techniques and such! Maybe I'm spoiled? And the Mexico thing that's a whole different ball game Ps. not fighting with you just curious about your take on it.... And if I want warm and fuzzy feelings I will defiantly seek you out again!!

Well that's the beauty of this surgery you really can't f**k it up. You do not have the ability to sabotage yourself after the first month our so! In these first months to a year or more this "tool" Helps up work out these self sabotaging eating patterns.. I know I have done the losing weight thing and after a month or so give in for whatever reason. That's why you should trust yourself get rid of old doubts and move toward a healthier life!

PDXMAN, I understand about not really needing the surgeon after unless there is a problem. I only see mine every couple of months. But I would feel really uncomfortable to never met him until I was wheeled into the operating room. Wouldn't you? I don't know it just doesn't sound reassuring the first person I met with was the surgeon and he talked to me and my husband and answered all of our questions himself.

I understand I've been there done that and I'm still doing it! It's a long road but we are now traveling In the right direction! There is going to be some pot holes and speed bumps along the way but, we will get there!! Slowly, safely and surely!!

Wow I was going to say the benefits out weigh the risks at that BMI and plus you can be a healthy mommy to your children.. But that whole doctor thing is weird! nothing against a PA because my husband happens to be the worlds best ER PA, but this woman doesn't sound very informed about this procedure and HELL YA! I would want to meet the person operating on me!

And she is beautiful! But did she lose another pound today!!! ( god I hope she didn't ) Take that cat! 3 pounds this week!!!! On a serious note I really needed that weight loss I was starting to get down on the weeks and weeks of no loss 0_o

I think the weird thing about this thread is that it refers to "lying" I wrote this on a different thread also; I really don't think that choosing not to tell "everyone" is out of shame, not loving yourself, or lying! We all are just different...people in my life know about it. And yes I've even told a few strangers about it. But it is my choice my decision on who and when to tell and I reserve the right to change my mind about it everyday! So live on people some like to tell, some don't! And some of us are all over the place

They are yummy. And with this freezing California weather hehehehe I just store them in the cupboard and drink them room temp! I know I know I'm gross!! But hey it's cold!! Only sixty degrees today!

At Costco they cost a bit more than that.. Around 24 dollars I know cause I live off of them! At SAMs club they are cheaper but sadly they do not have those in my area... I should say they cost more in California! Who knows other states they could be cheaper...

I went to the gap a couple of weeks ago, I was so happy just to be able to try on regular clothes again!! I bought a size 16 and was so happy especially because they were real jeans not stretchy ones! You weigh less than me! So it really is all over the place with sizing!!
