protein drinks and drinking around them
No game replied to jamesapricejr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes you do want to treat your protein drinks like a "meal" and wait your 30 minutes before consuming your water... According to my doctor anyway.... -
I do realize that was the original point of the thread but as you can see? It has, like so many threads taken many different directions.. Thank you for you concern though..

Is that true Gemini ?? I mean that you really "don't care" what others say to you? I'm not including what others "think" . But are you really not interested in others thoughts or views when it comes to having a conversation about ones self unless they fall completely in line with your views of self? I find this really interesting..

Hehehe....That's so cute

Marriage - I Don't Know If...
No game replied to AmandaRaeLeo's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It sounds like you have some thinking to do about this relationship... A good friend of mine told me right before I had the surgery, "please don't make any other major decisions or choices until after the surgery" and I think this is good advice for you too. I think that you will have the time later to look at why you are not entirely happy in your marriage. Take care if your self right now, and know that the act of having this surgery cannot make or break a marriage. -
I don't think that not telling is akin to trying to "look good" or "feel accepted" And I really don't put this surgery in the same place as "buying titties" you are not buying an healthier body you are having major surgery to help you get healthy hopefully... that is if you can stick to the diet and exercise plan... I don't disagree with your stance on telling EVERYONE, but after you have your surgery who knows you may change you mind again. Or take it on a case by case basis? And for that I will not judge...

My dog?? My little 5 pound bundle of joy?? Sounds like your fat cat needs the sleeve!

Well the fact that you two are in counseling shows a willingness from the both of you to make this marriage work.,. Without knowing what your problems are in the marriage. Do you think his insecurity is from just the surgery or does it come from something else? As far as being selfish... Well sometimes being "Selfish" is something we need to do to make us more available and healthy for our husbands and children.. I've never been "selfish" and I think that in part has led to my weight gain. So yes I did something for my "self" but my whole family benefits from it also. -
Nasty lol.. Thank god you said that before I posted any! Bad Martin!!
-
Hehe.. I let him know you are requesting that Martin And dean I prefer chicken hawk it makes me sound like more of a lech! And yes I'm no dummy I needed someone to take care if me when I'm older! But to my defense notice how I didn't need any advice on the "totally inappropriate question" Thread........
-
Yeah except I'm the old hag and he's the young one! Yeah that's right I'm a chicken hawk!

I guess if you look at the bright side, which you kind of have to after all the bad that has happened. You will know better than some how to appreciate the little things in life. Whether it be a meal or going for walk with your husband and daughter. It's nice to be able to not take those things for granted. Sometimes really bad experiences open our eyes to just how good our life's are. Don't you think?

What! What! What! Don't be talking smack about my man! He works his tail off so I can sit on mine all day!
