Oh! And on a side note, it is not uncommon to experience a little depression here and there in the first month or two. I find it really helps to know this! That way if it does happen you can recognize that it is a normal part of this process and be more prepared to handle it -

That's what I would do.. It doesn't have to be for long either... And yes tell him that you are concerned about so many changes at once and would prefer to "start" with a really small dose., -

That is a tough situation! Sorry to hear that. I think that if you went to your primary and told him about it he could write you a prescription. But he probably won't if you tell him your not going to take them... What about a really really low dose? I don't know I'm just thinking "out loud" here... -
Hi Sannah. Do I exercise..... Umm... Yeah a little, I walk and my husband and I go to the gym together. But honestly we only go about once a week.. So I guess I mostly just walk. Is it nice enough for you to walk? That's great that you are going to be able to lift those little weights I have some of those and use them too but only when my husband is here to show me what to do!! Because I forget

Is that why you have that big exclamation point at the end of your name Mark??

I need to vent about this sucky pre op diet

Would it make you feel better to say it gets worse? Oh!! I mean better! But I hated the pre op diet!! That is until 1 day after surgery.... Then I would of done anything to go back to the pre op diet! It was so easy! So now that I've scared the **** out if you, let me say it is hard but you will make it and three months from now you will look back at this and be so happy that you went through all of this "Starvation" -
I remember many years ago on valentines day my husband said something about a hallmark forced holiday he doesn't need that to express his love blah blah blah... Well I silently judged him for about two hours! Then I left to take our daughter to gymnastics across town and after we were done I get back to my car and there were orchids waiting for me I was so happy I couldn't believe he felt so bad about how I felt that he would do that..Fast forward to now, I know I love him and I know he loves me and we are in this for the long haul... And he's right we don't need that hallmark forced Holliday

It depends on your insurance. Mine had no waiting, I saw a nutritionist and met with a psych person. then i got cleared it was submitted to the insurance, approved But some insurance company policy's state that you have to wait 3 to 6 months and meet with a Nut during that time before they will consider it..

Hi Well on the first appointment they will take all your medical info in... Height, weight, other health issues. They will go over your options, and tell you about the procedures they do, including how its technically done what is expected of you and any complications that could arise. They will also go over what other doctors/ nutritionists appointments and tests you will need.
