The pain can be on either side depending on the way your doctor performs the surgery and the sutures would be internal not external. But you are very right bring it up to your doctor! Good luck to you Laura

Hi I'm a stay at home mom too! As a matter of fact my son wants to bake today so we came up with a recipe for orange biscuits .. ( not on my diet) so I'm about to bake with him. But the pain lasts about a week or two, try and limit twisting, bending. And you are very new.. water is very important but you will be able to build up to 64 oz soon enough just make sure your sipping all day in between meals I drink a Premier Protein shake every morning to help with protein ( 30g) but once again considering the stage you are on protein is something you will have to "build" up to! Most likely the internal sutures being stretched from bending and twisting most people experience that.

That's why I go to "peets" Starbucks is for the overly tanned
