Hehe.. Ok I brought lotion, hair ties, nook also! A comfy cami type sports bra that closes in the front cause I hate the girls swinging free when I'm walking and don't want to sleep in a full bra. The long front zippered sweater I wore over my hospital gown I also wore to and from the hospital with a pair of large yoga type pants.

It's not that bad..except for the corruption, greed, Bipartisanship, kickbacks... Ok it's pretty bad But you are right I'd rather be here than anywhere!! (Sorry Aussies)

I brought a big comfy sweater to wear over the hospital gown because your going to be up and walking a lot.. I don't know it your a boy or a girl..

Hopefully your dietitian will get back to you soon, In the mean time I would make sure you are most importantly getting liquids in. I would not recommend "eating" just yet, have you tried other protein shakes? sometimes its just about finding the right one... I don't know about the shots that where mentioned above but you want to make sure that it is a quality protein like "whey" Laura

I had a hard time with the thought of that too! When I talked to my nutritionist I said that would probably just do meat only baby foods. Well I bought one..and lets just say the dog had a good dinner But at the point I got to purées I was really hungry for something warm and savory.. So I bit the bullet and got some roasted chicken some watered down gravy and blended. Yeah it looked gross but guess what it was warm and comforting. I also did turkey meatloaf, gravy, and watery instant mashed potatoes together. Again good. Some people don't purée and say they just chew Chew chew. That happened a lot to me the first month or so.. There would be a day here and there where I felt nauseated. It does go away. I think there is really no rhyme or reason to it sometimes just our body still working things out. But if its continuous, its something you can talk to your surgeon about. Some people feel that way because of acid.
