Sannah! Your so cute!! What's going on with me is no big deal! It's a pretty easy procedure too! Nothing like the hell your going through... What's your husband think about your latest appointment? Does he ever go with you?
-
When you go tomorrow ask about the urologist Thing? I know that nephrologist doesn't do "surgical" interventions so I wonder if an urologist might have a different plan? As far as the thyroid thing they are scheduling me tomorrow and will let me know when. It's a good thing though because between you and me.. I've been feeling like **** lately. I really want to sleep all the time. Laura Oh and my husband is a little worried about the whys of this like why now? And why did they check such an obscure thing.. In normal blood tests. But it's not his field of expertise (not to many thyroids showing up in the ER)

Wow Sannah, It sounds like your appointments are nothing but frustration! Don't suppose you consider just going to a urologist? Don't get mad!! As far as my thing I don't know, the doc said he's never seen numbers this high before (great huh) So it looks like they are going to be taking some glands out... They are doing a scan soon to see what's going on... It can cause extreme exhaustion, depression AND kidney stones!!

And so the testing begins.....

I never had one.. Not everyone "needs" one I wouldn't stress to much. Other than being super fat I was pretty "healthy" so there were certain tests that I didn't have to do. -

My husband is starting to question the whole marrying an older woman thing! I told him, at least when I kick the bucket he'll still have time to remarry and have some fun! -

Sannah, Sorry that that your pain is bad again Are you taking your pain meds? I cannot end there though... how could I not comment on that little snuggle bunny!!! Venla is so cute!!! She is her own little person, isn't she?

That's great about not having to wait to long!! But not good about the flu Is it flu season already over there? Flu season is winding down around here and I made it through without getting it. Which is good because I feel like my resistance is down lately.

Girl you know that was me! I tried to sneak it into the operating room but they found it! Just wanted back what was mine Disclaimer; this was said for joking purposes only Of course I didn't eat a Big Mac or even a bite of a Big Mac!! That can give you LEAKS! And it wasn't on my three week full liquid diet...
-
Hi Amy, Well no on the apple! it might take a day or two to kick in but if it doesn't work after a while (a week or so) you might have to try an other ppi...
-
I think it's relative some people have no pain! So that could be you... But for me it was "painful" Especially the first day or two... But there will be pain meds that really help. And as much as you can, walk. it really is the only way to deal with the "gas" pain... But really it's not so bad that I was out if my mind with pain or anything:) And in the end, not as painful as being obese

Pre Op Liquid Diet. Help!
No game replied to mandersue's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If they say cream soups I would assume they mean something like Campbell's cream of chicken or mushroom type things.. I'm thinking they don't mean something like creamy potato cheese and bacon from the local restaurant Though it would be nice. And yes the "fatty" liver shrinking is the main reason most of our doctors did the per op diet thing -
I had a Big Mac four days out..... WHAT?? Don't judge!

What you really need to think about are, who are these people in your life anyway? Will they be there when you are old? Will they keep you warm at night? Will they be there to Celebrate the good things in life? Will they be there when you need a friend to lean on? If the answer is no..... Then I say don't worry about them, because at the end of the day they are of no consequence in your life! Live and be happy Laura Oh and I like to say "good riddance to bad rubbish"
