It's a tough stage your in right now.. Its like quitting a drug habit cold turkey ( excuse the food reference ) it will get easier after the first month and you will be able to eat a bit more normally... I went through a lot of depressing moments the first month, I think a lot of us did actually. If you are eating mashed potatoes can you eat refried Beans?? And a bit of soft cheese? Also when I was at the stage I was allowed cream of wheat.. I bought malt o meal instead and I know this sounds weird but I made it with homemade chicken broth, not canned that stuff is gross:p most people eat malt o meal sweet but I really wanted something savory...

STUCK in a RUT between thin & not fat enough

Can't believe we are talking about junk food recipes on here... But it's in the spirt of sharing our great (fat) American culture with the Aussies Just copied this recipe... To make a perfect smore, first take a square-shaped graham cracker. Our family enjoys Honey Maid graham crackers, but even store brand will do. Then, you will need a square of chocolate on top of the graham cracker. We use Hershey's chocolate, but any chocolate will do. I especially like Hershey's Special Dark chocolate on my s'mores. Next, you roast a marshmallow over an open fire. To roast the perfect marshmallow, the sugar should caramelize without burning. I take a stick or metal skewer and hold the marshmallow on the stick about 2 inches above the fire, turning it frequently until it is a caramel brown color without burning. Although, some people do enjoy it when their marshmallow catches fire and creates a black crust on the outside of the marshmallow. Then, when the marshmallow is nice and hot, you are ready to press it between two graham crackers. You remove the marshmallow with the top graham cracker, using it to slide the marshmallow off the stick. Finally, press the marshmallow on top of the chocolate with the graham cracker you used to slide the marshmallow off the roasting stick. The heat from the marshmallow will melt the chocolate. When pressed together, it makes a 'sandwich' of sorts, with the layers being: Honey Maid graham cracker, Hershey's chocolate square, roasted marshmallow, then another graham cracker. -

Dean?? Did you find any? -
Some people say they can't tolerate it after the sleeve... I've personally have not had a problem with it (brown rice) I did not try it until after the 3 month mark and never had more than a couple of spoons of it, but no problems.

Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
No game replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
If I had to go back and make the decision again. It would be a yes. For most of us, me included This is our last hope at a relatively happy and healthy life.. It's not easy and not a quick fix. But it's an effective tool. A tool that needs to be entered into with a thoughtful mind and the proper information.. As not to have those regrets. Laura -

Tad bit perplexed

You are not wrong, in the sense that everyone SHOULD follow their doctors orders, most definitely!! I don't think I've seen people give other people "tips" on cheating... But you must remember a lot of us are food addicts. And know damn right well what we should be doing.. But when desperate for a "fix" Will ask others what are you doing?? Sort of like subconsciously looking for permission.. Does that make sense? We are ultimately here to help each other through these hard times and at the same time trying not to judge which at times is a balancing act! to say the least! -
editing profile is a pain
No game replied to Museum-Mama's topic in Website Assistance & Suggestions
Once you get to a certain amount of posts you can change your title ( like sleeve master to just plain master) I should know I have a big mouth! And girls don't get me started on the profile stars!! It's like a sport to a couple of people here to knock down my stars! But seriously Alex the star thing is kinda petty.. I mean we already have the "likes" or "report" For things said. But rating the person as a person?? And no I'm not bitter when my stars get knocked down nice people come right along and put them right back up to 5... -

[quote=Lisa ] OMG....I just spat Syntrax nectar all over my laptop!!! LOL! Girl you better deduct that from you Protein total! -
VBG disadvantages Needs strict patient compliance to diet. High fibre foods and foods with a more dense, natural consistency can become very difficult to eat, while highly refined foods cause little discomfort. Most people who regain any weight lost after surgery do so because choosing "healthier" foods are harder to digest, while "junk" food pass easily.
