Hi seven, And welcome to our catchall thread it kinda jumped the shark after the new app was rolled out. But feel free to speak what's on your mind! Well except for food porn I put my foot down on that yesterday
-
Wow Jane you just described my thighs!! They were always my problem area even when I was younger and a bit smaller now at forty seven and coming through massive gain an loss? No bueno.. Not sure how I'm going to deal long term because surgery is not something on my radar. I get the garments in a way I always liked loose but I find myself wanting things snugger these days...security blanket?? Swaddled? Weird.
-
Lol I love black too! I know it's harsh especially since I'm getting older and I also get the comments about the long hair fact of the matter my hair is very long and in pictures I can see how it's "dragging" my face down a bit.. But like Jane it's hard to get rid of!! It's one of my security blankets.... Oh and fasting today! Brown I love the holliMONTH comment Globe we went mushroom hunting on Sunday banana slugs galore!! And yes nighttime and sweet.. Lol I like travel mugs too even at home it's like a giant sippy cup I like your recipe I will try it Pickled herring blech.. My son likes it though as a matter of fact we have a big jar in the fridge now I could see how eating it would mess with you Blech!

What Is Skinny Anyways?

Ideal, yes it's a struggle in a perfect world I would look much different at the end of this.. But as it stands now. I look just like I did before but a smaller version. I am the same shape as obese Laura. I guess that's what strikes me funny about those pictures and "ideals" Not only do we sometimes have these expectations of numbers but we start looking at these want to look like certain things that might not even be our body type! I mean some of us are hourglass some of us are all belly on two walking sticks! Some of us have knockers that will tip us over in a small breeze So really as hard as it is (and shit it's hard) we shouldn't enter into this wanting to look like someone or something else.. I will still be 5'4 (I hope ) older with floppy thighs and spider veins... Can I wear a swimsuit? Fuck no! I did this to my body and it can't all be undone. BUT!!! Swimsuit aside I can do a lot more now and feel comfortable. Skinny.... No that's not what I can shoot for but "normal" is a real goal. And normal centered into reality. Which is perfect in its imperfections. -
What do you feel the "comfort" is from them now? I mean you have had the extra skin taken so it can't be to hold actual things in... And by the way you don't need them under those jeggings, as you look great in them as is! So do you feel scared to go without the compression on your new stomach?

Don't mind me... please do continue

Lol! Looking at those young bodies! Even if I make it to a twenty five, you are going to have to add the extra skin from the 45 on it Skinny... It's something that quite honestly I wouldn't mind being but when I think of skinny I think of someone that never had a weight problem. Like in those pictures of the smaller girls. Where Will I end up? It will be "skinny" for me, myself, my body, but I'm sure that in society's eyes it will not be the true definition of skinny... -
Lol that was the easiest to skim through though after missing the overnight convos Teen books? Meh... *** Laura runs quickly from the room as not to get pummeled***

Thank you. Lol, I have to edit almost everyone of my posts, So I learned how to do it real quick Yay! For November 13th!! You are in for a great year, it's amazing how much things change in that short amount of time
-
Lol! Time will fly, once you get approval then surgery... I'm telling you this year flew by! Oh by the way I'm a Northern California too Los Gatos.
-
Lol yes you're good at that! it's a talent. You can also edit after you post.. I use that a lot because I misspell everything Just click on you post and it will give you the option to edit.. I was sleeved a year ago 11-13-12 I started at 235 I'm down to 149 so 86 pounds not the fastest loser but not the slowest either I'm 47 and my metabolism is shot. So I'm thinking you are MUCH younger, younger people seem to take it off a bit easier

Me?? I'm not after just yet but here's progress

I just wrote this in another thread but it seems to fit here too About your diet. I don't think you need to get extreme and do only liquids or a pouch test... The fact of the matter you still have the sleeved stomach and you can put it to work again by eating right. This is the hardest part I know, because when I fall off the wagon it's so hard to get back on. But you need to detox from the carbs and just go back the basics dense Protein and veggies Eat till you are satisfied and keep the carbs at bay. It will be tough for a few days to a week but with determination you can do it!
-
Curious... Why do you ask people to pm you for this miracle? Why not share it with all? And why have the sleeve if it works so good?

Sorry to read about your sorrows.. It does sound like a rough road you've been done lately... About your diet. I don't think you need to get extreme and do only liquids. The fact of the matter you still have the sleeved stomach and you can put it to work again by eating right. This is the hardest part I know, because when I fall off the wagon it's so hard to get back on. But you need to detox from the lousy food and just go back the basics dense protein and veggies Eat till you are satisfied and keep the carbs at bay. It will be tough for a few days to a week but with determination you can do it! -
Well I think you can't go wrong with the sleeve or the bypass.. But obviously I'm partial to the sleeve
-
But what about the band? Will you stay with that? You seemed pretty adamant about not thinking the sleeve was even a good procedure. Not busting your chops!
-
Hey.. I thought you were going to that female doctor in Sacramento? The one that said sleeves were to risky?
-
For me it would probably just settle in my already wobbly jowls
-
So do you think we should open it up to more? I've tried to make sure that new people really now that this is for them before joining.. Almost being a bitch about it... "Yes yes I'm committed" so I let them join and after they realize it's not a miracle weight lose cure they fall away...
-
There are 20 plus we had talked about capping it at twenty.. But obviously not that many are posting.. Which is good and bad.. Cheri? No she hasn't been back... Sorry I've tried PMing her but no answer.

Yes I've been loving all the dolman sleeves out now with scooped necklines. Shows a bit of collar bone and shoulder.. Plus some beautiful hi low cardis and sweaters
