Oh diet coke THE HARDEST TO BREAK Thank god I quit that months before I even knew I was having surgery. It was hard!! Food funerals are when people freak out and think they are never going to eat normal food again, so they go out a eat their favorite meals in copious amounts.. And blow up like a puffer fish -
Im 5 weeks out and dont know how much i should be eating?

I had a quick turn around too. first consultation in September sleeved in November.. I'm kinda glad it went that fast! It didn't give me to much time to freak out, or have months dieting and the dreaded "food funerals" that some people have and then actually gain weight waiting for surgery! -

Whatcha eating? Give an example of a meal. -
Ugh. Forgot to record those now I can't find episode 1 playing again! Makes me want to commit a hate crime!!

So stage 2 soft/purée? In that case canned beans/ refried Beans. I know you don't want to cook so hey eat them as is! you could bring tuna in the pouches or tuna and cracker kits.. Premier Protein shakes are ready made and shelf stable, you can buy those at costco or SAMs club.. I am going camping next week so a case of those are definitely coming with me! Is that the stage you are going to be at? Purée? Soft? Shaved deli meats also
-
I think if you do a search here a lot of women like it and use it.. I've seen several threads about those and other forms of contraceptives
-
Do a search on iud's also.. I think I remember reading about a lot of mishaps with those after surgery.. I never paid attention to the particulars though, being a old woman no longer having kids I didn't care
-
Aha!! That might be your cuprit your cycles can be really messed up right after surgery!
-
Oh, that's a hard one Jolie! I know that in the first month to two, I had days where I felt queasy all day and had a hard time with food... Not sure of that's what your feeling through. Are you getting water in??
-
What stage are you going to be at? Every doc is different in their stages..
-
Me?? Yes I'm losing a lot. it comes out in my hands everyday in the shower. I seem to be the only one to notices though.. I'm going to cut a couple of inches off in a couple of weeks just to give it more volume... I'm ok though because I'm losing weight and feeling so much better! And I know it is temporary and will come back Oh and if gets to bad I will buy some of those hair fibers to make it look thicker but as of now it not that bad.
-
Let her read what you just wrote! I too love my husband to pieces forever, nothing or no one can or will change that!
-
Sometimes people are just scared of change or they really don't know how to articulate their worries... Try not to let it get to you to much, and know that once they see you safe and getting healthier on the other side, things will get better! Good luck to you, Laura

I guess in a pinch I would do those little tuna packets and a fork or the tuna and cracker packs.. And premier shakes are shelf stable so they don't need to be refrigerated. And a protein bar, oh and some people like jerky.
-
If its going to happen... It's going to happen its a "side effect" of this surgery and rapid weight loss! Even if you take everything you should and could. Oh and yes it happening to me at 4 months out even though I've done everything right My surgeon even had a full page about it on my pre op consent forms that I had to sign.

Where the heck is my restriction
No game replied to lwilliams65's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Stuck for a lot of us means over full. But there is always the possibility of a stricture.. If eating just a spoonful at a meal makes you gag/ throw up or won't go down could be a sign. -

At this stage you need to throw picky out the window! It about thinking of the proper food as medicine. Not enjoyment. -

Does it hurt right when you start to eat? If so you still might be swollen or even have a build up of scar tissue (stricture) -
