It's gets even worse I let my husband read it to see how I made my mistake... And he thought you meant that he came on you Yes we are sick puppies here!! But on a serious note you seem like a beautiful girl (I've read some of your posts) And I hope he gets his head on straight and realizes that no matter what weight you are!

    Lets talk about sex...

Lmao!!! I kept reading "came into me" instead of "came onto me" I had to read it three times before I got it right! Damn dyslexia!! I was like wow yeah TMI!! Anyway I'm happy for your new found intimacy with the husband, it's one if those many perks!
  10. You should call your doctor or coordinator, They will know best as to what to do. As in pre op bowel prep or nothing...
  11. The only thing you need to come to terms with is the fact that there are a lot of idiots in this world and you had the misfortune of having to sit across from one! Good luck to you, and remember all the good you have on your life Laura
  12. Most doctors have you do a pre op prep and no food the day before, but it sounds like your doctor doesn't require that... If you want to feel really cleansed out, going to the drug store and buying a bottle of magnesium citrate will clean you out (it's the bowel prep I used the day before) but probably not necessary if you doctor doesn't mind you eating.

Was it hard for you to

I guess that's why I like to tell it like it is (with me) It's not just as easy as having 2/3rds of your stomach taken out.. I fight the good fight everyday and I'm doing pretty ok at it, but I did not have a miracle preformed on me, I just had them take away my ability to stuff to much food in at once! I am a work in progress...
  14. Is your surgery tomorrow? Did you eat the popcorn today? We're you supposed to be on just liquids? And what kind of pre op prep are you supposed to take if any?

Was it hard for you to

I think there are hard moments mentally with "Wanting" more sometimes. I have not eaten until sick or throwing up. But if I'm being honest? There have been moments that I have wished I could take a "break" and eat (binge) on something good. There was a certain "pleasure" eating vast amounts of food for some of us yeah? I am a addictive personality so eating for me was not just hunger as some people here say their eating was. Hehehe... After reading the above responses I sound screwed!!!
  16. It's pretty typical to not get "full" right after surgery your nerves in your stomach are still numb and swollen. Plus the restriction will not be felt to much until you get to the mushy/soft food stage. Hang in there you just have to let your stomach heal for a while

    help!

Haha. Yeah I guess it would be hard to get unbiased opinions from people that had one or the other! Both surgeries come with risks, so it really is a personal decision. I just did a lot of reading about both procedures on the forums but also on non forum websites to gather information.

    Boston

I know this may sound corny but... God bless America. I am and always will be, proud to be an American.
  19. Wow that's a loaded question.. "Normal" I am 5 months, do I feel normal yet? Yes and no There is that tired old saying about a "new normal" So I guess I will use that. At 1 month out I felt more back to myself health wise. At five months I'm at a better place health wise but its so very different from before. There are days (like this morning) where I'm a little (Not much) queasy. Other days eating is no problem and I can eat as normal as can be. Oh and I am still learning or at least trying to, everyday. I'm not sure that it ever becomes something that you don't have to think about again
  20. We have each other it helps me just as much being able to talk to others (including you Nate) We all are trying to achieve the same goal of health and happiness.
