Haha... Ok we are not even close to the same age!! But other than that I feel you on everything you are experiencing right now. After I was honest with him he treated it like a gift and it brought us closer ( we already had a great marriage). Just start by telling him about your hurt this afternoon and how it affected you when you got home, and then you went in the forum and wrote.....

OMG this story could of been me talking (except for the hot cheerleader part) 6 or seven months ago! The first thing I will say is three months will fly by. I know the dressing room ordeal I've been there plenty of times... Sometimes it would be just when I was sitting in a dressing room with one of my kids and saw myself in a sitting position in front of the full length mirror in my fat woman capris and fat feet stuffed into shoes I still have a fear of shopping at almost - 60 pounds later. Ok as for you though dear heart! You are almost there hold on and know it will get better! And don't do the silly food funeral crap! It will only add more you need to lose afterwards. Love yourself love your kids live your husband and know its going to be very soon that you will feel so much better

That the sleeve will automatically make you have an aversion to (or throw up) chocolate and unhealthy food! Unless my sleeve starts jumping out and slapping that **** outta my hand its still very possible to eat and enjoy

It is not abnormal to be hungry! There seems to be a growing belief here that you will no longer experience hunger. I will say there a a few here that say they never feel hunger anymore but that is the exception not the rule.. Your body needs fuel to work! It's still a balancing act in a way. I still have to make the decision to eat healthy when hunger comes and as time goes by you have to put a bit more work into it because increased hunger becomes an issue along with being able to eat a bit more. These are not things to scare you off, this is part of the "work" part people are talking about. the sleeve is a "tool" to be used along with having to learn new habits.

It's hard in the beginning! The protein goals are definitely something you have to work up to. go slow and know that in the first days staying hydrated is the most important, so concentrate on your water intake. Good luck to you

Seeking Last Minute Advice
No game replied to girlrfriday's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
As far as losing pre-op as long as you follow the plan that is the most important part. For afterwards make sure you have things done to make life easier for you, I made sure the house was clean, stocked up on lots of different liquids that were allowed and made sure there were easy dinner options for my family (some I pre cooked some pre made) so I didn't have to torture myself with cooking. Also chicken broth! Canned sucks home made is the way to go! -
My poor experience with A Lighter Me
No game replied to dawndenise's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Bravo, This is very important! Instead of starting a turf war over competing coordinators and patients this should of just been a stand alone review of one persons experience.. The coordinator should of taken it like that and then thought of ways to improve upon her performance. It really did not help this company to have people come and try and tear the OP down. This behavior did nothing but make a already tough decision of who to trust even harder. -
Mirena During Surgery
No game replied to cerenatee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you do a search on Mirena here you will find lots of info on it.. As for medical concerns about Mirena and surgery that is something that you should find out directly from your doctor. -

My poor experience with A Lighter Me

I still think its a sad day at VST that this woman (The op) posted her experience and is getting slammed by all these people still.... Let her words stand. This was her experience. I noticed one of the girls here that gave the most grief to this woman (the op) posted her glowing review of her experience on a new thread.. No one went over there and tried to belittle her experience. At this point I feel so sorry for anyone trying to research Mexico because of all the questions about who's real and who's just a paid flunky trying to drum up business by slamming others...
