Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
No game replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm sorry if you feel attacked... I asked Alex for a new sub forum here, because there are a lot of people, not just you, that regret this surgery. people that regret it, not because they had complications but for various other reasons. It should be a subject that can be found easily, and not buried in various threads. It's important information because this surgery is becoming so popular (for many different reasons) that people may not be getting the full picture of what it entails and changes... and yes sacrifices that need to be made. I hope that in the future you can come to peace with your decision. -
Lol!! Snow cones!! You crazy Texans! In California we eat normal things like tofu smoothies!

I am so sorry! That sounds like one awful experience after another There is a sub forum here for complications, I wonder if it would be worth looking there to see if anyone else has gone through this? -
I guess this is how it ends

It doesn't... But some people think they dump anyway.. I will say your digestion in the beginning is really off and you can get sensitivities to certain things But it usually works itself out.

There are a lot of weirdos here that drink pickle juice!! Some say it helps with acid? Some pure it in their tuna, some DRINK IT I don't know I thought you always threw the juice away after you've eaten the pickles.. Oh and someone even poured it over shaved ice to make a slushie!

Wow! First off let me say that I'm glad you are getting better and with such a great attitude! I've only read about one other leak here so far out, so definitely a rare thing.. I'm glad that you listened to your body and knew something was wrong to get the care you needed in a timely matter. -

The fact that you "deliberately" kept your stomach small?? And you think this one is doing it right by only being able to eat a tiny bit? My god we all have different stomachs and different capacities. I did not do anything WRONG. I followed the RULES and I can eat more than 3 bites of anything. -
I must be weird I love my protein shakes.. Still drink them 5 months out! As a matter of fact my husband and his riding buddies like my shakes too and steal them all the time

Do you people think she wasn't taking it it seriously??? She knows it was her "old behavior" taking over and admitted that and is WORKING on it! -
Lol I'm married to a PA who works in the ER So in the early days he would tell me when I got impacted "we have two choices enema or I can slip on a glove and manually disimpact you"

I understand where your coming from, it still messes with my head 5 months out! I have on occasion eaten things like 1 small piece of pizza and had a major freak out! We need to know its ok to eat. for the most part keep it healthy but when you are further out its ok to eat something "bad" once in awhile.

Hahaha!!! Don't you love it?? Someone here last week asked me how on earth Can I have eaten a WHOLE BANANA!!! (For those of you wondering how.. I peeled it took a bite chewed and swallowed then took another bite, chewed and swallowed till it was gone ) She was 11 months out, I'm 5 months. She then told me "well I guess I could do it but it would take me a whole hour!" So I guess I'm a freak of nature -
