Is Sleeving the easy way out?
No game replied to bikermike5094's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This is the hardest "easy way out" I've ever done! This is not a miracle cure and you have to put blood sweat and tears into it! literally! There is still a chance of "failure". so easy? No! I feel no sense of guilt or personal failure choosing this procedure, In doing so I have given my self a fighting chance. -
Do You Drink Coffee, How Much Weight Have You Lost?
No game replied to KhadijahRose's topic in Food and Nutrition
Oh I was going to answer, but I was to busy drinking my morning coffee! My surgeon said it a no no along with everything else so I didn't start having it again until 3 months out, and now I buy a mix of beans 1 bag regular and 1 bag decaf and mix them together before grinding -

Umm... You are cute as a button. And a very nice girl to top it off! So I would get used to it And know that what you have at home is real and honest love, the best kind -
Haha that I can't answer...and no it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I am reputation point leader around here!! P.S. I was never prom queen... To fat I guess

$$ - VS done in USA vs Mexico or Canada
No game replied to SqueakyWheel&Ethyl's topic in The Gals' Room
I may be sensitive but the only issue I have is when I repeatedly hear that Mexican doctors and the hospital care is "better" than the USA... It's not true in my book there are good and bad in both places! Please be mindful if this... I must also say I'm not specifically speaking to you guys. It just something I see from a lot of members here that chose Mexico -

I think it's just the more likes you get the "better" your reputation" is... I'm not sure but I think if you say something really offensive and get reported it can knock you down and will get a neutral rating? Not a big deal, My biggest gripe is that on your profile page next to your picture you have stars that people can click to rate you as person, I've had 5 stars and I've had 1 stars depending on who felt like rating me any giving day

It's the number of "likes" that you have gotten to date. When you make a post that someone likes they click on the like icon

The beloved "Food Funeral".
No game replied to LipstickLady's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I think what Aussie was saying, is that this surgery is going to help you feel full quicker yes, But as the months progress you WILL be able to eat more, and the "bad" or junk food goes down way to easy and you don't experience the discomfort with it like you do with dense Proteins. So people that have issues with food (Yes, I know we all do) often eat "around" the sleeve. So it's essential to at least have a fighting chance at this working long term, to work on food issues starting now, instead of thinking about everything you can consume now "before its to late". You will be able to eat these things again. And you most likely will be able to eat larger amounts of them over dense Protein. I know that notion sucks because healthy food did not get us here, but unless they invent a sleeve that slaps that **** out of your hand, it's entirely up to you. Once again that's what I think she was saying, I could be wrong. -

OTR, Let me first say I think you are doing awesome through this tough "journey". I know there are a lot of us having the same struggles with food and our addictions to it. I have really been trying to be more honest and open here and in "real" life. I'm glad that you feel safe enough at this point to talk about it. We are here after all to help each other. -

Janese! Haha... Yeah she sounds awesome, between this and last week, she sounds like someone who needs to be fired! That is unless you like the gossiping, backstabbing, thug mentality thing -
