HA! and the mirage he's seeing is a giant fritter! Damn fiddle now I want a fritter!

Andy you know I can! It's weird that this is hitting you now.. I wonder why? As you know I battle my mind with wanting tasty bites quite often. Some nights it's a tough battle. Others it's just a passing thought.. I don't think I will ever lose that part me, I wish I could though.

My insurance did not require a waiting period. So my first consult was mid September and after getting all the pre op tests scheduled and done Surgery was done in mid November. So 3 months?

I am a flawed human being. Because I followed my pre op diet in no way makes me perfect. I think we all go into this with different mind sets, different expectations and different goals. I obviously have a weight problem and struggle just as much as the next guy with food. When on the pre op diet I did not look at it as a diet in the normal sense. It was a pre op prep for a major surgery to me. That's how I approached it. "Cheating" really didn't occur to me. But I will say as a food addict if I were asking everyone if they cheated or read post after post about people cheating and it all turning out fine, would I have cheated? Who knows? Maybe... As an addict you sometimes look for enablers. I try to be as honest as I can about where I'm coming from. Again I am not perfect but I do care.

I need advice on hair loss! Please help
No game replied to aamandddaaaahunt's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hair loss starts about 4 months out.. It will something your surgeon should talk to you about. Even when doing everything right it will happen to some extent. It does come back though I'm almost six months and it has slowed down! I know some girls around here use hair fibers for the short term loss, its called xfusion. -
Hehehe....

Ehh... I've seen better! (Like his boyfriend hehehe)

Hi, Yeah that five or six month mark is a killer for a lot of us. You definitely have an easier time eating and learn how to "eat around" your sleeve. I'm glad you are back it's really helpful to keep on touch and be accountable sometimes. I'm not personally on MFP (I do another app) But there are tons of people here that do.

I have to say before I had my surgery I told the dietician there was no way I'd purée meat! Umm yeah, I puréed chicken with glee and loved it

Protein bars are usually ok when you are cleared for all foods. They are good for when you are in a pinch but not something good for everyday. I keep one around when I'm out traveling around and may not have any other choices that are good.

Help...I'm being deprived!

Well you need to quit reading those threads where everyone is so happy and start reading the unhappy ones! But seriously I see people everyday talking about how hard the pre op is... Not true! For me the first month post op was the hardest! You are in pain you are hungry and the one form of comfort that you had was ripped away from you! I understand. Now comes the part that sounds like a tired out over used saying, but it's true. It gets better! Just give it time Just hold on and give your body time to heal and I promise it does get better. -
Lol! Yeah, what he said ^

It's like some of my threads still update some dont...
