Getting a massage a few days post-op?
No game replied to cinward2001's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My word... Last night someone wants to get a tattoo in Mexico on their STOMACH right after surgery.. People getting Botox, dental work, What am I missing?? I mean is the surgery in Mexico different than the surgery in the USA? Or is the thought that "hey I'm on vacation" So strong that you overcome the pain? -
What did they say in the other thread that you read about this already?

Do you still feel the urge to binge eat?

Oh and fiddle I'm going to start calling you an enabler!! A saboteur!!! Everyday you try and tempt us, "oh I just want a Oreo" "oh and a apple fritter" "hey guys who makes the best donut" Then you come back, after getting us all worked up about food and say "ok I feel better now after my casein Protein drink"

Happy birthday fiddle

Binging... It is something that if not worked on pre-op and post op, can become an issue later on. In the beginning months, say up until the 5th or 6th, it will be hard to do. But once you are able to eat more? Possible most definitely. -
Another interesting factoid about Reglan is that it is given for migraines sometimes (off label)
-
I really think you should fill the reglan... It's another med for acid, it might really help! After.. if its still bad then call the doctor again.

I don't know about that I much rather listen to some random person on the Internet. Why just the other day my surgeon told me I shouldn't eat certain things and I thought "that's weird" So I posted the question here.... And sure enough LOTS of people were still eating it and they were fine! Stupid surgeon...... -

Pretty girl! Great job! -
Yes, sometimes after surgery you get a build up of scar tissue and they need to scope you to "stretch" the passage way. Symptoms of esophageal strictures include heartburn, bitter or acid taste in your mouth, choking, coughing, shortness of breath, frequent burping or hiccups, pain or trouble swallowing, throwing up, throwing up blood, or weight loss.[4] Treatment If it is caused by esophagitis, then it is treated by treating the infection (typically with antibiotics). In order to open the stricture, a surgeon can insert a bougie, a weighted tube used to dilate the constricted areas in the esophagus.[1] It can also be treated during an endoscopy with a special balloon that inflates in the esophagus (called "Dilation of the stricture"), or with other medications. For example, an H2 blocker medicine (e.g., ranitidine) or a proton-pump inhibitor (e.g., omeprazole) can treat underlying acid reflux disease.

Has it been so long since I've had a soda, that this stuff tastes just like it to me?? Orange crush tastes just like orange crush I feel like that girl in willy wonka chewing the gum that tastes just like a five course meal And yes, yes I know it's bad for me, but let me have my fun with fake sugars today
-
They just scope you and as they are doing so they dilate the esophagus with the scope ?? I think...
