Yes and you may want to call the surgeons coordinator also they will have a better sense about any expenses that are not covered by insurance.. Including the array of vitamins and supplements that need to be purchased and taken daily after surgery..

Sounds about right... I know that my surgeon also had a program fee, I think it was 500? Oh and a lot of the times the anesthesiologist is out of network too.

Protein even in shake form (even though I know you are taken in so little) will bind you up.. Your bowels will be a mess in the beginning with runny stool but then it will become solid. in fact it will most likely become a problem of constant constipation because of the high protein diet..

I ran across (jaywalking/running) a four lane street yesterday and I swear everything I owned was still jiggling/moving once I stopped running! In other words it ain't pretty so I know I will feel more comfortable running indoors right now At some point I hope to be more fit and have the confidence to run in public..

She's early out what she is feeling is very normal, She needs to be up and walking at least 10 minutes an hour to help with the gas. As far as the nausea has she asked the doctor for anything?
