No it will stretch then you will be able to eat an extra large pepperoni pizza...
  4. Please go to one of the meetings you just spoke of. They are often run by really knowledgable people. The vitamins are a pain as far as timing them but compared to being on high blood pressure meds? I'll take them. I am 47 in a couple of weeks and was 235 and stand 5'4 I did it for my children so they DONT have to bury their mom. And I did it for me so I can go out and LIVE life again. All I can say is don't believe that nonsense about 18 years. It's just not true. Oh and it gets easier everyday I promise.
  5. I know.. I gotta go before I pop a horn! I'm a zen unicorn today.... Breath......

I think it's different for everyone... I'm no spring chicken (47) but I was able to do everything for myself no problems, including tampons.

    Feeling discouraged!

Several things.. I think the last two ladies have some good advice. Also some people have a lot of problems with eggs in the beginning. So try something else. If it keeps happening call the doctor. This is something I dug up from another member... When you eat something that requires a little extra work to digest, your body produces extra secretions that, pre-sleeve, you swallowed without even knowing it--extra saliva, extra mucus to help the food slide down, extra "stuff" that your body uses to digest the food. Now, the volume of your stomach is much smaller and can't always hold both food and secretions--and sometimes that causes a very, very unpleasant situation of either feeling painfully full for half an hour or so to being ill with bubbles of mucus being the first thing to appear. The first time that happened to me I was really surprised! And it was after eating eggs, which I still cannot tolerate in any form (and I have tried, because I LOVE them and used to eat them almost daily). Your body may adjust over time with small exposures; mine hasn't, and I've just sort of given up on eating eggs--small trade-off for the rest of my life, I will say, but I do miss them.
  14. I guess that's the hard part on these alcohol threads we are all at different stages! When I speak I speak as someone 6+ months out! I should always include that when I'm talking about having a drink...
  15. Ok I'm a simple gal.... I buy the premier pre made protein drinks from Costco (yummy at six months I still drink one a day) And if I'm out and about? I just pack one with me they are "shelf stable" so they don't have to be refrigerated. No fuss no muss
  16. Ok this thread popping up right now is a sign that i must stop wasting my Sunday morning and go exercise!! "Happy unicorn" signing out!

    I want pizza!

It will happen. At 6 months out things are pretty "normal" as far as food goes
